Do you have to use 2 clamps (flying) when stringing the crosses (one piece), because you can easily get the job done with just one clamp?
Thanks |

Hi there, I read that even if a string is pulled at e.g. 25kg, friction in the strings reduce the tension when stringing. Is it true? How much does it reduces? If they say, for example that Nadal's racket was stringed at 25 kg, does it mean that the real stiffness is lower than that, or professional stringing is able to keep It accurate?
Thanks |

Hello everyone.
I am new on here and looking for some advise on strings.. I am going to purchase a new Head Crossbow 2 racket. I will be playing inside and out and would like to know what your opinion on strings would be. What tension should I use for this new racquet. Please feel free to give me your opinion. I am also looking for speed but formost controll. Thanks Craig |

I know this is a stupid question but i have to ask it. I have a Head Prestige Tour MP I bought over a dozen years ago. I didnt use it at all til last summer when I started playing a lot again. The strings are the original strings and seem to be working fine so why do I need to have it restrung?

You say that, but only until you get it restrung will you notice how much of a difference new strings make on all shots

I already got my new racquet and went with the Babolat Excel 17g strings. I just got it the week and havent used it as of yet but I surely can't wait to taek a few cracks with it. Anyway I have done my studying on Racquets and strings so I think I will be just fine. |
