It is so weird with my rackets because when I play with 3 4/8, my rackets becomes so stiff. I got no power... feels like I am playing with a pan. But when I wraping an extra overgrip, my rackets tends to become more soft and I get power. But the problem is that the handle is to big for me then. 3 4/8 feels so comfortable but something is happening with the racket and the strings feels hard strung with the smaller grip.
What could be the problem? ![]() |

Wait 3 4/8 or 4 3/8? I dont think it should be the grip size's fault. It should more or less depend on the grip over the handle. Cuz physically, something thinner should flex more than something thicker. I think the overgrip just makes the feel more softer.
What grip are u using? |

Srry, I mean 4 3/8 of course. My main grip is some kind off yellow Babolat and my overgrip is Wilson Pro Grip.

Well it's known that larger grips give more power, and more power also means more comfort. If you want to make the racquet feel less stiff without adding an overgrip, you could add some lead at 12 oclock or at 3 and 9.
