Is it possible to sign up on the ITF Men's Circuit online without having played in any tournaments beforehand?
Registering for the IPIN seems to be for players who have played in tournaments already. I am starting from ground zero. So, what steps must I take to join the ITF? Thanks. |

do you mean you havnt played in any futures matches? or do you mean you havnt played in any tournaments at all? if you havnt played in any at all id say play in some opens to makes sure you even have a shot of being able to play in the itf matches.

You dont have to have had any experience playing itf tournaments to get an ipin. You just need to register your info and pay the fee.
If youve played itf juniors you can get registered straight away but i think theres a waiting period or something if you're completely new to the itf computer |

Correct, I have not played in any Futures events. I've played in tournaments but they are not sanctioned by the USTA or what not.
nfor304: If I do register with the ITF, will my profile be available on the ITF website? And then I can start playing ITF tournaments in my area? Thanks. |

Yes if you register your profile will be available, and then yes you can start to play itf tournaments.
Pro-tip: you can register on-site when you arrive at the itf tournament you want to participate in. That way, your 1 year ipin expiration is maximized. |
