Sherif I used a Prince calfskin, i'll report back with my thoughts... I see you also play with the 4d200 16x19. I just picked up one of those and it seems to offer some things the 320 vo2 does not (most noticeably a more "solid" feel at impact), but I just cant decide which one I like better. Both are great sticks, just totally different.

ironically, i made the switch from the 4D200 16x19 to the vo2 max because I felt the vo2 was a more solid feeling racquet at contact and a more lively response from the net....the 4D200 16x19 was a bit more unforgiving for me, but if I was a better player I would definetly have chosen to keep playing with it.

it's interesting how some people find different reasons for switching racquets....it's a very personal decision

I feel the 320 to be a bit hollow at impact, not nearly as noticeable as a Babolat but just enough to make me notice. I've only gotten to hit with the 4d200 16x19 three times, and the first two didnt go so well, I restrung it and the last time I enjoyed it, but if I stick with that as my sole racquet I would want to do some more tweaking with the strings. Like you I sometimes think to myself that the 4d200 is an unforgiving stick, but then when I pick the 320 up I wonder if it just a racquet that is so easy to use that I have become a bit spoiled... they are both great racquets I just feel like the Dunlop might be what I would like to move towards as I improve my skills

but still, dampener is advised! All in all...this samurai will be with me for a while!
strung with enduro pro 17G (50LBS)
Previously strung with Luxilon Pro 130 16G(48LBS)NOT RECOMMENDED!DEAD BED!
added 10 grams to the butt.
Will very much appreciated if anyone could recomment me some nice feel string for i'm recovering from tennis elbow!
Well my racquet's make the sound and personally I enjoy hearing it. I do not like dampeners because for me it takes the feel away.
My setup is 2 VO 2 325
17 Gage at 54 lbs Gamma natural gut
16 Gage at 54 lbs cheap natural gut from Global.
8 grams lead 7 inches from the handle, 6 grams in the head at 3 and 9, 2 grams at 12. Plays fantastic.
I like these rackets so much I bought a 315 speed flex just to try it out. I strung several tensions with Prince synthetic 17 just to get the tension right. I was looking for 53 after all the testing so I had the gut strung at 54. I am waiting on a tension meter to arrive so I can measure after 2 months of play. I was 30 years with Head and the Tecnifibres are premium for me after demoing over 25 racquet's. No arm problems and the feel of the gut is awesome. I have trouble telling the Global 16 from the Gamma 17 and the Global is only $12.00 but by now you probally have to pay a little more. Its still very inexpensive and the best string to play with. BTW at 62 I decided one of the string jobs to be polly and I ripped it out just after using it one time.

Levy when you tried the poly what did you use?? I've been wondering what a gut string job would play like in the 320, but just worry that it may be a bit too much power for me at my preferred tensions (usually string in the low to mid 50's with a Cyber Flash/syn gut hybrid). If I did try it I would probably start out around 56-57, but I don't think I would want to go any higher than that.

I cant remember what the poly was. The stringer for OSU does my racquet's only because he and I belong to the same club and he also does all the club racquet's. I asked him to string with the softest poly just to try it. I probably did not give it much chance it just felt too hard for me.
I tried 57 and I hated it. Buy some cheap Global and try it. I doubt you will use anything else.

I played with both 335s but I prefer the 16x20 version because it is more versatile. A little bigger sweetspot as well. If you only used to hit flat with precision the 18x20 is more suitable to you.

Thank you Gee's ching advice.
My playing style is loving to play topspin and underspin shot. my usual rkt is very old wilson rkt , head size about 80-85 size, 16x19. but too flexible for me , especially sometime volley shot, or want to add force for passing shot, seems the rkt bending too much to affect my control. needs a bit stiffer, not too stiff, like most modern tennis rkt,
does tech 335 quite stiff in feel during playing.
tend to try 18x20 for more firmer stringbed feel , but do two version has much stringbed feel variation ??

T335 feels very similar during play like the old Wilson 6.1s but not as extremely stiff. However they are still stiff enough (RA flex 66 unstrung). So they are a bit more comfortable and arm friendly.

Especially volleys are great with the TF335. Solid as a rock!

I would choose the 16x20 version as you play a lot with spin. The 18x20 is also a bit more unforgiving IMO.

thank you for yr viewpt, I just got a 2nd 335(18x20) just see what it feels, so u mean 18x20, a bit difficult to play than 16x20 version ??

does u try some soft poly string on 335, like isospeed baseline speed ??, hybrid with syn gut ??
