No idea why but this makes me want to buy a used Yonex with a small headsize and just do a full RED paintjob... And I never used a Yonex before. The only main difference is a bigger sweetspot, right? Can someone give me a brief overview? I'd appreciate it.

Calling D. Nalbandian Fans. Does Nalbandian new racquet have a 18X20 string pattern?

Last season (and most of the time I think), he played with a racquet with a 19X16 pattern. Please clarify.

From the top picture, I counted a 16x19 pattern... And on the bottom don't you mean 16x19?

It's a 16x19 pattern, looks at the pics provided by Viktor (throat), definitely a new racket...

In fact, my Liquidmetal Radical Tour with 20g of leadtape feels heavier...
Well, your LM Radical Tour with 20 g of lead tape would be 345 grams unstrung. Depending on exactly WHERE the 20 grams of lead are placed it SURE COULD feel heavy.
Even in stock form it was a hefty stick (SW). Nice bludgeoning power though.
It's still used by 3 (at least 3) VERY high level players in my area.

Sorry to bring up an old thread but this has some good pics of Nalby's current (I think) racquet.

Anyone know if it's a 28 or a 28.5? (I've read he uses/used a 28.5, can't remember where though).

Getting back into my RDS001MP at the moment which I extended to 27.75. Tempted to try an RDiS100MP and extend the handle on that too if I like it.

Sorry, you can extend the handle? How do you go about doing that?

A few different methods exist I think. I used blocks of thin balsa wood stuck inside the buttcap (use epoxy resin), Meaghan who posts in the UK Racketaholics thread used a similar method but used a lighter material of some sort (can't remember what now but will look at it more closely if I XL a racquet again).

I got the balsa method from a thread on the forum somewhere (search for threads of extending racquet length or handles).

My RDS001MP is fine with the XL handle, feels solid. Made it more headlight but that's fine by me.
