This is a good thread. It's nice to see someone else having the balls to start threads like this telling the truth like it is.
I've been reading the same stuff about Murray for 2 years- he is young, he will get better, versatility, blablabla...- he is overrated, period.
Murray playing agressive tennis yet again LOL! The brit pusher has not changed, he thinks he's doing fine, ok...23 y.o. and no majors yet, 1 year without a title that matters and now choking against a top 20 player. at least i hope he keeps beating Fed in masters series.

Murray played OK for the first two sets, and he almost won.

Just a note: the game in which Murray was broken in the third, Sam hit no winners. It was all UEs from Murray - 2 easy volleys and 2 forehands in a neutral rally.

Think about that before rewriting history.

Just another one of those instances when Murray wasn't aggressive enough, that 3rd set was quite passive from him.
I was there live today, and I basically saw the same thing.

In the first set and a half, Murray's defensive play worked well and Sam donated a lot of points. However, as soon as Sam started to pick things up in the second set, Murray did not change his level of intensity at all.

No kidding. Luckily I watched the match live, but the thread is pretty inconsiderate. Maybe if the point of the thread had some substance and wasn't solely for someone to gloat it would be different.

I am done with this argument.
Long live the pushers,LOL.
Using your logic, Mahut "destroyed" Isner at Wimby...

Not really. Do you seriously expect to not to know results and yet post in this forum.

LOL

It happens all the time and it cant be policed and enforced. For every thread that is deleted, dozen others come up.

Btw, how long should people wait? may be poster should wait Till you (not exactly you but someone like you) go home, have a dinner, stroll the park, may be play a set or two, couple of beers and the finally till you finish watching the DVR' match in two-7 days?

If you wanted to not know the results, you know what to do. stay off internet news sites, media , forums until you are ready.

Murray has been strange all week, one moment he was playing great whilst the next he could hardly win a point.

Congratulations to Sam, but i'd still back Murray to take him in New York if they play.

Her has no weapons whatsoever.Querrey made him run from one side to the other like a dog in training. At the end of the match He was very tired and what running like a crazy headless chicken did for him?
A few extra points,but not a match.
There are only more and more players beating him and people still say that he has chance to win multiple majors with that serve ,forehand and volley skills.
I don;t think it is possible to chance Murray's 15 y.o forehand anymore.
The pusher got what He deserved.Querrey hit through him,hit him off the court.
It was one match. Querrey played over his head and Murray had an off day. So what?

LOL Murray got destroyed when he had a match point in this match, a match he didn't even try to win? Talk about "destroying" someone. He was hardly trying to win it. When they plan at a slam, we say how badly Murray destroyed Querrey.

zzz buckethead's silly troll posts aren't funny or interesting. Nobody was destroyed here, both played a good competitive match and it just so happened that Sam was better today. Although it's a recurring story in Murray's career, he runs into more aggressive players and can't find a way to win.

I agree with the sentiments, irrespective of this match's results. Murray does not have the mental wherewithal to win a slam.

"Had," and the "coulda, woulda" arguments do not matter. Murray lost and could not think his way aound/turn up his game to defeat Sam--one of the points of this thread.

Nobody is disputing Murray lost; of course he did. People are disputing he was "destroyed" which is in the thread title.

Buckethead. What excuses are you talking about?
I've been saying in the match thread Murray is really struggling.
Read before you make ignorant comments.
Mun. Where are you from and how old are you?
Does your mummy know you are wasting time writing crap on forums instead of doing your homework?
You are a complete moron if you think cheap gloating is a good thread.
Email me if you think you and Buckethead have balls, that's if they've even dropped yet.

Buckethead. I tried emailing you there to let you know what personality disorder you have but you've blocked people sending emails.
As Mun says you have some balls.

Oh, yeah, he wasn't trying to win the title, he didn't care. That's why he was screaming, breaking his racket, and cutting himself, "LOL."
