However, comments like it being heftier than a PT630 puts me off slightly... a tad confusing too as I've heard it swings a tad easier than the Reb 95 - which I personally found swings a bit easier than the capped PT...

I do wonder how it compares to the RD7 (frame I have recent experience of and 1 I'd imagine as having some similarities to the AG2004D Tour?)... if it was a bit more predictable and a touch less hefty (I'd even use the word 'moody' - which might chime with some of you who've ever used the RD7!) than the Yonex, it might really be my cup of tea, as they say.

I also wonder how the balance is... you know, like the specs indicate?... or is it a tad more aggreeably head-light, I wonder?

Anyhow, as I say, I'm very tempted to give it a looky... I had some time with the AG100 mid (loved it for serving)...I do really rate the AG2004D (closed patt) but it's not quite for me... I like the head-size... like the open pattern... like what would appear to be a nice combination of (enhanced) control/(bring your own) power/touch and feel... I like some body and heft... but is it too much body and heft?... could I maneuver the thing without using a hydraulic lift!? ...

Guess there's only really 1 way to be sure...

Just demo it dude. Although I am still in the process of demoing other racquets myself, I have truthfully played the best tennis of the past two years when using the 4D 200 Tour. Immediately felt "right". Must demo.

No Ross !!! DON'T DO IT !!!!

There are so many racquets out on the market... what about the 4d100? the BLX90 and 95... Head Speed 16x19 with an extra .2in length leaded-up... the Youtek Radical Oversize with silicone in the handle, lead @ 12 and a poly @ 40lbs. An APDC GT customized to your liking. A K88 with natural gut @ 50lbs. is the equivalent of a supermodel in your hands-- feels so good at the time, but will cost you $$$$. A POG... the Diablos are back in stock!!! That money could well go towards a rare frame from the past or a pro-stock frame.... There are too many possibilities.

I feel those things as well. That's what has me eyeballing this stick. But I also notice a drop in racquet head speed---or at least I think I do---particularly on the serve.

That may well be. Especially if the racquet you're currently using (i.e., the one you strokes are grooved for) is more HL in balance and/or lower in sw.

That's what I notice when I go from a more HL stick to a less HL one. In time -- but maybe not in one hitting session -- I've found it's possible to adjust/re-groove to get more racquet head speed. And then you also have the additional oomph from the new stick extra weight/sw/plow.

Well I just recently became a huge fan and bought one! On my first hit with it all of my shots were better than with my previous stick, with the exception of my serve but I know it'll just take some minor adjusting to improve that.

I'm going to be headed to the classifieds to pick up another one!

Well, I finally hit with one of these quite recently and, to echo JZimmer's post above, I 'm surprised there isn't more debate and praise for the AG200Tour. With it's high SW this racket is absolutely primed to hit a monster ball - it totally crushes and just flat kabooms the heck out of it... too hefty and not spinny enough for my tastes but, in the right hands, a really serious, takes no prisoner's, pretty awesome player's frame.

Hate to say my initial impressions were wrong...but I was wrong.

Initially, I didn't like the balance of this thing. So, I took the cushioned grip off (as I often do), built up the butt of the handle with some tape, and wrapped it with a couple of TournaGrip II's. I think on one of them I put a little lead tape on the butt. I have 3 now.

Strung with Klip Legend natural gut 17 guage this thing is now quite a beast and is replacing my PT 630 as number 1 racquet because it's much more spin generating and otherwise pretty similar. The one thing not quite so great is the serve, but I'm working on that. But, all in all, I am playing better than ever with this very solid and spin friendly club of a racquet.

Wow, that was quick. I thought I had a really long term relationship going with my discontinued and rather expensive Head PT 630's. Their dense string patterns have proved to be a limitation for me.

But, then I did get over my first wife. Second one's better.

I just ordered a 200 4d tour with klip legend natural gut 60-57 strung. I am very excited about this racket. It surpasses the the 6.1 95 in every category. I will give more details as I play next week. I have only demoed with terrible strings and still liked it.

Good luck with it. Sounds very similar to my setup.

If you don't quite like the balance of this racquet, work with the handle some.

I think it will be perfect because I put a lot of lead on the 6.1 95 . The 6.1 is to head light for my preference so i end up using lead on most of the wilsons I have.

It took me around two months or so to get the dunlop sponsorship. Sorry I don't have any awesome feelings because I haven't tried it yet. Hows it compare to the BLX 95? I am still deciding between this or the 300 tour.....
