Bad Case of sour grapes ? Why not just for once appreciate one's good collection & He (FabFed) probably has given the money to a good cause ( the whole point of an auction like this ... ) ... Anyways , FabFed good post man , thanks again.

I bet it's a PT10 with fake PWS like Guga Kuerten's fake crossbar on his PT630

Coming from the two oldest *******s in the world this is only with the utmost sincerity, envy and respect. Since everyone is asking for specs on the Fed frames I am curious to the size of the power pads used (height, length, width).

Thanks in advance
Hey Geoff, really cool that you and BounceHitBounceHit were there to watch the match, now if only he had won...

On the power pads, I have measured them somewhat but it's difficult to get the length and height accurately because of their position inside the throat and I don't have a measuring tape, but its about 5, 9, 8 mm (height, length, width).

Fabfed, thanks again for posting.. I wonder if the leather will bleed like the k90's youve got. I recall seeing pics of P1 having their own "P1" leather grips on the blx's
Hey aimr75, I wondered about that too, I guess I will find out in about 5-6 months. I didn't store the first K90 that I got properly so that could be the reason why it bled through quite badly after a few months with the humidity and all, so I took better care for the other 2 racquets and they seem to be ok for now (the second K90 I acquired already had some bleed through when I got it).

On the issue of a comparison, I'm sorry but visually at least, the BLX90 looks the same as the K90, short of maybe play testing them or taking them out to be measured (both of which I'm not gonna do, we've been down that road, I've been referred to as a "little squirt" by poster corners in another thread for refusing to measure the racquets, but still no), I suppose we can't really tell. So here are some comparison pics, for what they are worth...

FedK90 and FedBLX90

So it looks like he is still using the K6.1 mold. Did you measure the weight?

Fabfed has a long time ago established significant credibility in matters Fed and has amassed quite a collection, much of which he has shared with folks on this board. Your post indicting his recent acquisition was a complete and utter fabrication (I suppose I could add you likewise indicted the item that you haven't seen) which now appears to be wholly mean-spirited (which only took 17 posts to be realized). I guess if I am going to spend my time during which I have nothing better to do I would just as soon spend it congratulating someone's nice find rather than using the same time making up stories for the purpose of trying to spoil someone else's experience on these boards. I think the first and last three letters of your username pretty much sums you up. In the words of the unforgettable Fez, "Good Day, Sir."

Is it just me or is the buttcap of the BLX paintjob slightly smaller than the K6.1 paintjob?

Epic pictures mate, epic collection. Thanks a ton. Without you we'd probably never get to see such close ups and comparisons.
Forgive me my weakness for being slightly jealous, those pieces are just superb.

Thanks. There are actually a lot of scuff marks, the racquet's been through the wars, so parts of the decal on the frame are scraped off.
