Not yet....we're still in that transition from the summer blockbuster crap movies to the more serious winter season films.

Saw "Frozen" last nite. Mildly entertaining, somewhat suspenseful. Overall thumbs down.

Saw "Nowhere Boy". It was OK- was expecting more about music.

Resident Evil Afterlife 3D.

Didn't care much about it.
And I am a resident evil fan.

The other guys

Nothing special...and didnt find it "LOL" funny except for one scene. The only good thing about that movie is Eva Mendes...

Secretariat. I liked it even though we all know the ending. Diane Lane as Penny Chenery and John Malkovich as Lucien Laurin were excellent.

I was bulldozed into a movie theater to watch the new Wall Street sequel this weekend. The movie was predictably mediocre and mildly entertaining, but the girlfriend/wife or whatever character was very unbelievable and frankly awful.

I'm surprised. Carey Mulligan's is supposed to be terrific actress.

So do you think I should spent my money and go see it in the theater or wait for it on television?

I'm sure she would do a fine job playing a neurotic psychology major virgin at a mediocre rural school, but isn't so believable playing a woman of class sitting on a $100mil inheritance and wishing to donate it to charity. Don't go see it for the sake of seeing the movie. Let it come to you.

Saw "Huevos de oro".
For anybody expecting a 2010 release it's a 1993 movie with Javier Bardem, Benicio del Toro and a few others.
Funny, interesting, not for kids ...

80's throwbacks

Killer Klowns from Outer Space-Watched it with my 2YO nephew. His words, "I want to watch it again!"

The Wraith-Hadn't seen it since I was nine, still a really fun movie with cheezy effects and I still want the Turbo Interceptor.
