Nike Courtballistic 2.3

Hi All

I'm after some info pretty quick as i have a good offer on the above tennis trainers.

The problem (or may not be a problem) is that they are the clay version and i play on hardcourt / indoor only.

My question is there a difference between the clay versions and the hardcourt version 2.3's in terms of wear and tear and grip???

I've noticed the soles are different but i'm not sure how this affects the grip.

Any info will be much appreciated.

Has anyone worn the clay version predominantly on hard courts???

I could imagine that they would wear out much quicker. It's a simple herringbone, similar to the 2K10, just more dramatic. My 2K10's wear pretty quickly, way much more than my 2.3's.

I also play in indoor(syntetic grass) and I tried Wilson clay shoes. And it was hard to grip. But if you have a real good offer - take them

If you can get the clay version for under 70, do it.

In general, if I were to get a shoe to use on both clay and hard court, I would get something with an exaggerated herringbone, like the adidas adizero feather. When they get on sale, of course.

Thats my conundrum, I can get them for £45 which is really good. I don't want any balance issues though and would pay the premium for the hardcourt versions if the traction isn't as good. I'm not it sure if l'd invalidate the 6 month warranty as I don't ever play on clay.

Cheers for the help, I'm probably going to take the plunge and get them. The offer is reall good I'll just hope they don't mess my movement up too bad.

did you go ahead and order yet? Was just wanting to say if you ONly play indoors like you said.. do you really want a shoe designed for clay no matter how good the deal??

If you ordered already.. Im sure they'll be fine.. rubber soles are rubber soles herringbone, checkerboard or whatever the rubber pattern i'm sure it will grip fine..enjoy!
