Tomic has just beaten Chardy in straight sets.
His third 1st round win at the Aus Open in a row, and this time against a decent player.

Tomic looked FANTASTIC in the highlights I saw, he may be ready to breakthrough.

I wouldn't say he looked fantastic. Saw most of the match ... he basically let Chardy beat himself.
Having said that, Tomic certainly looked better than his ranking. |
