Default Drexel's Varsity Team

Hey guys, I'm a solid 4.5 player, do you think I have any chance at making it onto Drexel's Varsity Team. It's a D1 school.

it depends on how you do in usta tournaments. What is your ranking in your section? No offense but people tend to overrate themselves so giving an NTRP rating means nothing.

Drexel is not the strongest D1 school, but it is still a D1 school. In the eastern region you would need to be top 25 to start there, middle states probably around 20. I train with a bunch of kids who were ranked around there and they are all playing at schools like Bucknell who are about equal to drexel

Well I'm usta rated 4.5, because last year I went 9-0 during my 4.0 season. When I played mid atlantic tournaments the highest ranking I achieved was 45 in the 18s, but it has been 2 years since then and I've improved significantly.

The mid Atlantic is weaker than both of those regions. In the east the #16 in the 18s (2 years ago) is now playing #2 for quinipiac and there are kids who were a lot better than him. And the 24 is playing #3 at bucknell. So idk man if you got better you have a shot.

Is that the reason you want to go to the school? First check with the coach and see if they even have walk ons. If so send a video to the coach and they will tell you if they want you or not.

Send a video to the coach! How good is the team as a whole, look up the players on trn and see how you compare.
