Red face A Good Day..

So 2 weeks ago, I sent in my Breath Cage II's for warranty claim with nike. Today in the mail I basically got a gift card for the value of the shoe(for $115). Except I bought the shoes on sale for $80. With this card, I got a brand new pair of breath 2K10's, A nike tennis shirt, and a pair of tennis shorts. I seriously thought it was great that I bought a pair of shoes at a fair price, wore them for 6 months, sent them in, and got a new pair of shoes and more for absolutely nothing.

Couple this with the fact that I bought 2 more rackets(more BLX 95's), and I'd say I had a pretty good day...

(too bad I didnt actually PLAY any tennis today for the first time in 2 weeks)

Now after I wasted a minute of your time, go ahead and comment(or flame about how useless this is)...

Funny how Nike would see your receipt saying you bought them for 80, yet still give you 115 back. Either your full of BS or Nike is full of retards. I'm betting on the latter.

Nike sees different view point for sending full price of voucher.
Adidas or other shoes companies send new replacement shoes. Some companies charge shipping fee and some companies do not charge shipping fee for the replacement shoes. I think Nike prefer to send vouchers and save $$$ for hiring extra employees to handle warranty claims. If Nike send exact amount of shoes which the buyer paid, the buyer might not Be able to buy shoes from Nike website because of size availability and new shoes prices then many customers might complain about their warranty system.

I am the one who always buy Nike shoes for lowest price and claim the warranty then get two shoes ^_^

Does not need to write down receipt of $120.
I bought CB 2.3 less than $45 from local shop. Actual price was about $69 but had a coupon for $25 from the shop so final price was around $45. I claimed the warranty and I got a $120 voucher.

I might wait for Nike sales event. I need to decide whether I will use it for CB 3.3 or get another two pairs ^_^

Nike is losing too much $ from this.

I feel bad for Nike.

Haha, I was going to do the same thing for my 2.3's but man, right when I got my voucher, the neon lime 2.3's just came out and I had to use the whole $120 voucher for those shoes, but my goodness they were so worth it! I have gotten so many good compliments about them haha

well i guess I could have bought CB3.3's for $125, but honestly I think that price is very unreasonable considering there is no durability guarantee...

But yeah if they had the lime green ones online when I went to use the voucher, I would have spent the entire thing on them aswell lol...

Ha, in your POV, it may looks like a good deal, which I suppose it is, but then again, a pair of that BCII probably only cost Nike $5 to produce...and how much did you paid for then again??
