He was jubilant wasn't he? That was at 19. Of course you have the emotional Wimbledon wins, but you're right, I've never seen him react like this either. Then, the team's reaction is great. It's lucky they didn't throw him on the court though. That was a big win.

These videos are brilliant.
The best book I read as research for my book though, was A TERRIBLE SPLENDOUR by MARSHAL JON FISHER, which describes the 1937 Davis Cup final match between Don Budge and Gotfreid von Cramm at Wimbledon. It describes the history leading up to the 2nd world war and in detail the lives of Tilden, Budge and von Cramm. - A must-read for anyone interested in the history of the game.
