Default Babolat Pure Drive Limited

Tw I noticed the babolat pure drive limited (red pj) is no longer on your site. Is there a reason for this?

It was not called "Limited" but the Pure Drive GT 135th Anniversary. However, supplies do seem to have been limited.

Sorry about the confusion. The limited is a different racquet. As SFrazeur said, I meant the 135th Anniversary edition Pure Drive.

My theory is that they're making room for the new Aero line of the Rolland Garros paintjob.

Wait, there's a new Aero line coming out before RG?

New Roland-Garos paint job. Not a new stick IIRC.

Maybe they are planning a re-release of it along side the AeroPro special edition one... That could be a reason its off the site at least. TW?

Most logical reason is because they are out of them and no longer making them.

Babolat's 135 anniversary was last march (2010 - http://www.babolat.com/media/babolat...ve_English.pdf). I doubt they will continue to produce the PD with the 135 anniversary theme more than a year past that anniversary.

If anything, there is a better chance to see a Roland Garros branded PD as Babolat is producing the R.G. themed AP to celebrate their offical sponsorship of the French Open - which includes producing R.G. branded products: http://www.sportspromedia.com/news/b...roland-garros/

Anyway, best way to know for sure is just to contact TW directly. If they don't have it, there are other places where you might be able get one either new or used.

JRstriker, you are exactly right. I contacted TW and they explained that the Anniversary edition was in fact limited afterall (while supplies lasted) because it was for 2010 only. That solves that!
