Funny how he says this, when he wasn't anywhere near a 4.5 or even 3.5 at the time.

Hilarious considering he was paying to get whooped repeatedly over and over by the same guys he is putting down.

yeah, he would consider a 5.5 league, when he could barely get by 3.5/4.0's.

LMAO! at the last comment. He can "guilt" 4.0/4.5's to pay for his court time, when fact is, he is paying money to get beat in first round of open tourneys by lesser NTRP players.

This, coming from a guy who got taken to a 6-4 set by a 3.0. LOL

Again, coming from a guy who had a losing record to these exact type of players.

yup, on a good day, people aks him if he is on tour.

This all coming from a guy, who was at the very best a 3.5 when he posted it 3 years ago.
Less LeeD MORE Drak.

I will play anyone in the Eastern Region who is also a USTA 4.5 or 4.0 if you want to play up and challenge my old soggy, dripping wet, filthy arse.

The event can be recorded and poasted.

It would be best to do this at NTC indoor since the spectator viewing area is perfect to film.

I propose Dennis provides live color commentary.

Theres my offer. Take it or leave it.

JD, I live in the UK.

Should've challenged me when I used to live in Da Burgh.

Good times....

YellowOct...if you read my posts, I've posted every flaw in my serve motion. How would you serve at 62, sprained left ankle, haven't run in 3 years, can can't brush your teeth with your hitting hand?
Aphex, you're living in the past. The days of GreekGods ended back in the day...... You just suck.

No biggee, I'm a gimp anyways.
Went for a bigger jump than I can handle on a 25mph day with a new slalom board and no booties for the first time that year (200. Foot slipped on landing, jammed inside the straps and twisted heel inwards, causing a sprain I've not come close to healing since. Keep sailing because the 57 degree water muted the pain, but upon landing, could not come close to walking towards my car, so I sat down until help arrived.
It' NOT the sprain that lowers my playing ability, it's the lack of conditioning by not being able to run, the atrophy in the left leg as a whole, and the hopping step I've adopted to compensate.

How long before it heals or will it completely heal? I can see where doubles makes more sense.

Yo, LeeD, you're in awesome shape for your age! Much respect.

Tennis players in general seem to age very well. Not just pros, but even guys who play a lot of recreational tennis. Saw some sprightly 80 year olds playing some doubles this morning.

I'm not really old, as some of you have alluded to, I"m just too often injured, so the pain from those injuries catch up to me on certain days.
I've accrued 3 lower leg breaks, 2 requiring full operations, pins, plates, screws, and wires.
4 clavical breaks.
WAY more than 10 ribs broken
Couple shoulder separates and dislocates, tough to heal and serve a tennis ball.
6 outside fingers have been broken, 3 have pins in them.
I mentioned I can't come close to brushing my teeth or shaving with my left hand, and I'm lefty on the tennis court. Try serving with that rotator cuff.
But really, I'm more out of shape than old, or injured. It's hard to get in shape when the legs don't work right, the right hip likes to pop out of socket, and the left KNEE medial swells up from all the gimping I do.
Heck, after 1/2 hour of windsurfing, I can't walk up to my car, without a good 5 minute stretch and rest.

Yeah, I look 62.
No 30-35 year old girl looks at me as potential b/f material.
Certainly nobody younger.
G/f just turned 41, so I'm not doing so well.
Too much sun in my life. After 25 years of full time surfing, I decided to take up windsurfing 27 years ago, more sun.
Eyes bloodshot from sun.
Can't run a block, jump a lick, do 3 pushups.

Eh, just be happy you can blow us off the court with your good looks, uber charm, and youthful exuberance.
We just happen to be your DAD's age..

Oh, maybe he didn't BEAT the 5.5, the 5.5 took it too lightly, was surprised, and barfed up some bad tennis .......
