aria "Quem Sabe"
was always fascinated by this small piece from opera Il Guarany by Carlos Gomes (brazilian composer)
its just an enduringly beautiful piece ,, like a well-carved out jewel. so beautiful and yet so unknown. was never really happy with any renditions .. until ran into this hauntingly beautiful rendition. this blind brazilian girl belts it out just like been dreaming of : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z9GtzSVJTfI&NR=1 isn't this godly? |
