I like throwing out these scenarios:
Team ACC: 1. Domijan 2. Cunha 3. Shabaz 4. Carleton 5. Gomez 6. Hernandez Team Big Ten: 1. Rola 2. Nevolo 3. Buchanan 4. King 5. Allare 6. Jung Team Big 12: 1. Peers 2. Carvalho 3. Krajicek 4. Escobar 5. Corrie 6. Beleleu Team Pac 10: 1. Johnson 2. Klahn 3. Zerbini 4. Kosakowski 5. Nguyen 6. Thacher Team SEC: 1. Quigley 2. Williams 3. Lacroix 4. Smith 5. Spencer 6. Puetz Wildcard Team: 1. Childs 2. Harabtsiuk 3. Fanselow 4. Arevalo 5. Jackson 6. Kearney Looks like the SEC would be the deepest and the ACC the trongest at the top. Big Ten team is probably the weakest. |

Carleton should move down to 6, and Nguyen and Thacher should swap spots, I think. Actually, Nguyen plays #3 for USC below Poldma.
The ACC team would thrash the Pac-10 team, would edge the SEC team, and would beat the Big 10 and Big 12 teams. It would be interesting to see the top 3 doubles teams (not using the 6 singles players, just the 3 best existing teams) for each conference. That would be a strong lineup for each conference. |

The most salty individual lines would be Shabaz at 3, Smith at 4, Puetz at 6(remember this guy made the national semifinals last year).
YeahI thought about putting Poldma in instead of Nguyen. You coud do the doubles Clark. |

ACC:
1: Courtney/Shabaz (UVA) 2: Cunha/Carleton (Duke) 3: Smith/Mirzadeh (FSU) Big Ten+ 1: Buchanan/Rola (OSU) 2: Allare/Kobelt (OSU) 3: Jung/King (UM) Big Twelve 1: Dadamo/Krajicek (TAMU) 2: Peers/Maytin (Baylor) 3: Corrie/Andersen (UT) Pac 10 1: Klahn/Thacher (Stan) 2: Nedunchezhiyan/McMorrow (UDub) 3: Konigsfeldt/Andrews (Cal) SEC 1: Conkic/Smith (Tenn) 2: Pieters/Garrapiz (UGA) 3: Thiemann/Thiemann (Miss) Others 1: Jackson/Pohlman (SD) 2: de Villiers/Boutillier (Fresno State) 3: Childs/Maksimcuk (Louisville) Notes: The Pac 10's second highest ranked team is Meister/Inbar, but since Meister's out for the season, I didn't use them. Going by ITA rankings, the Big 12 team fills up first. The Big 10 or Pac-10 teams fill up last, depending on if you count the UCLA team or not. |

yeah i think ACC would shred (SEC is the closest I guess)...and yeah Carleton is too high - he may have justified that earlier in the year, but guys like Hernandez and Gomez have been way more impressive lately - if he's on the ACC team it's at #6
