Exclamation Huge news about Federer's racket!!!

Was on the phone with the Wilson rep today...and he casually mentions Wilson is getting Del Potro a new stick. cool. then he informs me Fed has been testing out a few new prototypes to hit with, with the main difference in that he's testing out a larger head size. 93-95!!!!!!!!

so fed may finally not shank those bhs so much anymore!!!

Except that I've noticed Rafa or was it Joker shanking at WO. So maybe they need larger frames, too.

Maybe its a racquet that Federer will be said to play with, but really it's a racquet to cash in on the general market which must surely have twigged by now that they can't play with his real racquet.

well, Pete admitted that he should have switched to a larger head in the final years of his career.

Fed is learning from the previous GOAT's misjudgement.

I really dont think much will happen. you shank with a 90, youre gunna shank with a 95. you hit long with a 95, youre going to hit long with a 90. its going to make some difference, but not a whole lot.

yeah should have gone all the way to a 100. If you're gonna go through the growing pains of switching sticks might as well do it right

i really do agree with you on this one. i actually think that the wt should be lowered, that would be the first step, for me.

i can hit the same with the prestige mid and warrior os. but the weight and balance makes it a whole lot easier.

Next yr Wilson releases the 100" head. Then a special edition that is polarized. Do not forget Fed's 2012 Olympic model.

They focus in on a BLX95. You assumed that it is Feds racquet. It was on the other side of the court where Fed was sitting.
