Default BEWARE OF THIS TRADER! AIM: MuNkeY SoLjAh

If any of you get messaged on AIM by a fellow under the screen name: MuNkeY SoLjAh, BEWARE! I posted a WANT ad for a Babolat PC and he messaged me.

To make a long story short, I paid him through PayPal and he said he would send out next day. He never responded through email, nor did he respond through AIM although he was active and never heard with him. Unfortunately I was doing a few trades, buy/sell at once, so I neglected to check his references and take detail of his information so I have to go through a fraud claim process with PayPal to get my money back right now.

I should have been smarter but I've had over 10 smooth transactions with members on this board so I didn't bother to check up on him.

If it happens that any of you know about him, please let me know, otherwise STAY AWAY from him. His email is: jjlewis@mailcan.com

Take care everyone.

He aim'ed me too. Luckily I had asked for the wrong racket (pure drive plus instead of pd team) in the Wanted section so I didnt send him any money. Another of his email addresses is avoid_puddles@hotmail.com

caveat emptor

If you have his physical address, just call the cops in his city/town, they'll pay him a visit and you'll have your money back in no time. I did this once a while back with an **** guy that wouldn't send me my stuff. Needless to say, i got my stuff within 3 days after that.

All I heard was that he was from Washington as he and I chatted on AIM. Of course payment was made via PayPal so there was no need for HIS address which I'm desperate to find.

I was given the address avoid_puddles@hotmail.com and emailed the guy and apparently he claims he has no relation to the MUNKEY SOLJAH guy. PayPal replied to my complaint request 30 days later and said NOTHING COULD BE DONE as what I expected.

I hope that somehow one of us will get a hold of his physical address as he might try to scam another member on this board.

You can find him on AIM all day and night under the screen name "avoidpuddles". Apparently he likes poker and has a xanga page.

...I just wanted everybody to know that PayPal DID get my money back (- their charges?!?!?), from that guy we've been looking for... I STRONGLY suggest that you persist IMMEDIATELY...I'd CALL PayPal to find out any status regarding your claim....BEFORE PayPal loses 'track' of him...again !!!

How did you get PayPal to do that? Even AFTER they settled the claiming saying nothing could be done? Could you please tell us what steps you did in getting your money back?

Thanks.

go through **** for any purchases involving paypal. ask him to create an account. if he refuses, ask to send a money order. Protect yourself because paypals hands are tied.
