When I push, I can hog the court longer than any other method of play, so I can keep serious tennis players OFF the courts longer, or at least, until they get bored and leave.
I push because I don't want to use any "real" strokes. I always like to play using the least amount of physical skill, and the most amount of physical energy, since I play purely for exercise and not for fun. |

probably the best reasons are not only could you beat players who could not keep a rally going for 5 strokes but you would frustrate them as hell too
