The 6.1 90 is one of the most powerful frames out there... granted it's not known for reverse forehand type games...(was Rios ever known for his reverse forehand?) but it can impart some great spin on the ball.

-------

That thing probably swings like a tweener after those workout regiments.

The K6.1.90 is one of the LEAST powerful frames. You don't know jack.

Agreed. You need to take a huge swing to move that weight to hit the ball hard. It is NOT an inherently powerful frame like most stiff, big headed tweeners are (think Pure Drive, etc.).

There are nicer ways to prove your point. You don't know jack? We're talking about rackets. Ya'll take this $h!t too seriously. I'm going to stop paying attention to teenagers' replies.

And yes, I didn't like the K90, for one because it was too powerful. The weight makes it difficult (for some) to get power out of it, but I found that open pattern coupled with the weight to be too 'lively' and yes... powerful. Through my experience the heavier a racquet is, the heavier and more powerful my shots are... sometimes uncontrollable.

Again, it's the weight that makes people think it's a 'low' powered frame. It's all relative. What might be heavy for me, might not for someone else.

In TW's comparisons of the BLX90 vs the APDGT, in terms of sweet spot and power potential. The BLX90 is above the APDGT.

So maybe they don't know jack either.

Do you guys think this is "BIG"?, I do not think so, not even on tennis terms. On the other hand, didn't Sampras use to hit a very mean "reverse" fh with his PS85? I play with a very close string patter racquet and all I can hit are loopy shots - pretty much a la Rios, so I would say once you get the feeling of the racquet you can hit whatever you are use to hit.

It is a low powered frame but the mass makes up the difference. At the same swing speed I bet the BLX90 would have more power. If you weight up the APDGT to the same weight it would have more power.

WTF is a reverse forehand. Do you mean inside out? Like a run around the backhand to hit a forehand?

Not quite. A reverse FH is one that finishes over the head.

now I remember, the Rafa Nadal Lasso. Also, used in the buggy whip shot when you are digging up low balls.

I have played with the k90 over the last 2 years and I also consider it a powerful racquet compared to the many racquets I have tested.

Heavy racquets are actually more powerful than light racuqets if you are strong enough to swing it as fast as you do the light racquet. no doubt about it. People complain about the low power of a player's racquet because their incomplete technique do not allow them to move the racquet around as fast as the pro players do.

Reverse forehand...by that do you mean inside out forehand ala Jim Courier? He hit a pretty good one with it.

It sort of looks a little 95-ish, but I'm not sure.
