Nishikori is playing like a beast right now but I still give the edge to Federer.

Wow I just woke up to see that Djokovic lost to Nishikori and top of that a bagel.

Watch out Federer....

Ken is full of surprises I think he'll take a set.

Fed needs to beat Wawrinka in the semi, in case you didn't know.

And Wawrinka beating Federer is akin to Roddick beating Federer. Unpossible.

Well, if Federer actually reaches the final, I'd say him in 3. Nishikori has played really well this week.

Novak is still rusty. He hasn't look like he's there the whole time. He doesn't look fit enough or in shape enough to do damage at the Masters. He seemed a bit gingerly and tentative with his serves and stretching out. He wasn't willing to go for it as much. I think he's rusty and worried about getting re-injured. Novak does have a tendancy to pull back when he's worried about his health.

He also really seemed to check out after going down 0-3 in the 3rd set. I wasn't surprised at that point that he got bageled, he just wanted out in my opinion.

Djokovic doesn't need to play anymore. He's finishing the year as #1 and has already won the WTF in 2008. He has nothing really to defend. Look onward to the AO in 3 months.

Federer I think. He rarely loses at home. Hoping for Nishikori though.

This is true, he doesn't need to play well. He didn't look like his heart was in it in Basal. I could see him taking it easy during Paris and WTF, simply treating them as training, and trying not to re-injure himself.

Really happy for Kei today, great potential, and it is always heartening to see new blood coming through. However, I will be cheering for Roger, I would love to see him get to 70 titles soon.
