His lapdogs always end up on his side. That's the luck of the Swiss draw I guess.

If he wins, Basel, Paris, and the WTFs, he will by the end of the year. It's a long shot, but you never know, both Nadal and Djokovic haven't been up to par lately, it's down to how Federer and Murray take their chances. If Federer wins Basel, I feel it will give him the confidence to play well again. He was pretty good against Wawrinka in the second set, aggressive tennis and constant pressure. He needs this title....badly. The way I see, most of what happens in these two weeks is on Federer and Murray's racquets.

No one can say anything but Fed in two, maaaybe 3.

Can you imagine if Kei won though? The Nishikori hype on this board will be at max capacity.

Fed 6-2 6-3. Nishi beat an injured Djoker. Fed's not ailing.

Pulling for Kei Nishikori for sure.
I respect Federer and his accomplishments, but I want to see some fresh meat on the Tour ready to move up into the Top 10 and start shifting things around.

Even though Kei seems to do a lot of things very well, i just don't think he quite has enough power to really trouble Fed, in the final of Basel where Fed feels so comfortable and all the crowd behind i can only see Fed winning in two, i havn't yet watched the match against Djokovic, but he must have played very well to have taken the 3rd set 6-0 regardless of Djokovic being injured, so if he could produce that kind of tennis again perhaps he could give Roger some problems and sneak a set but Fed in 2

Roger will probably win, but I hope Kei takes him to three sets.

The only thing interesting is changing the top 4. The top 10 doesn't mean jack.

From how Nishinomiya played in the semis I wouldn't say he don't stand a chance at all.

Gambatte Nish!!!

The universal laws of probability says Nishikori has a chance. The law of Federer negates that.

fed's a bad matchup for nish. nish doesn't have the power to put fed on his heels (like tsonga, delpo) or overwhelm his backhand (rafa). fed in 2 easy sets.
