I don't understand re: the black shirt and supposedly 'night AO matches' - Federer has never had two shirts for the Australian Open, or any slam for the matter apart from the obvious US Open.
From what I've always noted, this is Federer's cycle of outfits: links going to 2011 photos. Abu Dhabi/Doha/Australian Open = Shirt 1 Dubai/Indian Wells = Shirt 2 Miami = Shirt 3 (whole new outfit) Monte Carlo/Madrid/Rome = Shirt 4 (alternate of Shirt 3) We know the red shirt is for the AO. And there are two alternates, the 'black' and the 'blue' - which will be worn where? Noting that Miami onwards is his Summer range, which is still relatively unknown up to Wimbledon 2012. I think he will wear two different shirt this year, the red and the black one.
After he will wear the blue one at Rotterdam/indian wells. And the new shirt ( black/red and White/Blue ) for miami and clay .. |

Not a flattering pattern if you happen to have a little extra weight around your med-section - like most of us "mortals". If they would just put the darker color around the belly...

Just tried the CB4.3's and Vapor 9's in my local store. The Cb's are definitely lighter, not remarkably lighter, but it is noticeable. They also don't have that horrid constricting feeling that the 3.3's had for me (especially the Spring 2011 one's).
The vapors were pretty junky. Felt like a glorified running shoe. Looks like trash, feels like trash. Keep in mind that i've never been a fan of vapor's... |

The new shirt u talk about (red/black and white/blue) I haven't seen pics of those, sounds interesting. Iv seen he will wear that blue (with what looks like is a pocket and RF monogram on it) for the clay courts but for Miami I have not seen a design yet.
I agree with the pattern you guys were discussing, thats how it works every year. So no doubt the blue shirt for spring will be worn for Rotterdam, Dubai and IW. |

Oh wow, I have seen those. They really cool, I actually thought they were the cotton shirts for this year? That means he has 3 polos for spring then 2 crews and 2 polos for summer excluding Wimbledon?? thats quite amazing.. lots of shirts.

So I did a google search with the name of the Fed polo for the spring and this website came up selling his and Rafa's stuff already. There is no sign of the black and brown polo but there is the white polo with the red stripe on there and it has the Federer monogram on it! So I am now very confused?? they also had the black/red crew and white/blue crew. And they are not t-shirts, same material as the polo's. IM CONFUSED!! All these shirts for spring??

Oooh new designs! And I'm kind of annoyed that Nike picked one of their (at least in my opinion) lower quality designs to take and make like 60 freakin colorways of. I mean those are like the 5th of 6th we've seen! Or am I crazy...
