Default Tennis in Palm Desert Area Jan 28 - where?

Hi,

we are taking a trip to Palm Desert area this coming Thurs thru Monday. Bringing my golf clubs as usual...but wondering if it also makes sense to bring my racquet and trying to find a game a couple of days?

If I wanted to arrange a game somewhere...are there good places to call that would arrange a game of singles or doubles for me? desert Springs? Indian Wells tennis garden? Others?

If it matters at all...I take the game very casually...51 years old and was a medium 4.5 a couple of years ago last time I was rated...probably slower and less skilled now....although I still do like to play about once a week.

Any and all recommendations are appreciated.

Thanks!

Call up IWTG, Shadow Mtn, La Quinta, and Palm Valley Country Club, to name a few, and ask to be set up with match. Good chance it will happen.

Thanks Granite! I will give that a try. Do you have a favorite place where you like to play?

Thanks again

^ +1. In fact my wife and I were the only idiots playing in 107 degree heat there, mid-summer. But we didn't care, we were playing at Indian Wells. Well worth it. Their clay court had cracks in it like Death Valley, lol.
