Don't worry, Golubev will take it away from Almagro.

Updates:
Spain leading Kazakhstan 4-0 - Granollers up a set in the 5th rubber. Austria up 3-1 - Haider-Maurer split a set with Kunitsyn so far in the 5th rubber. I did not see Austria dominating like this, and Bogomolov is looking like a fool for leaving the States right now. France up 2-1 with the deciders tonight. Still think France wins both of those. Raonic can't handle Tsonga, and Benneteau's shooting up the ranks, so I think he can handle Pospisil. Did think France would sweep, but guess not. USA beats Switzerland 5-0. Very very happy I was wrong on this one. That was an epic beatdown, and I love seeing the United States do this well on clay. They did this without both Bryans, and a 19 year old kid. Wait till the Bryans come back in April together. Czech Republic beats Italy 4-1. I was spot on with the score, but I expected Seppi to take the one rubber, not Bolelli. Croatia beats Japan 3-2. Right on the button. Serbia up against Sweden 3-1. Even if Sweden wins the final match, it really wasn't the battle I thought it would be. Argentina beats Germany 4-1. Right on the button. |

I'm a bit disappointed over the general state of tennis here in Sweden. Once upon a time we had to cut people from the top 10 when playing DC ties, the 10th best Swede was ranked around 35-40, we won infinity majors. Somehow, Sweden is still the 2nd most successful country of all time on the male side, and there's been a swede in a major final in each decade from the 70's, we had one who can be considered one of the greatest ever, one who was the best tactician the game has ever seen and one who had one of the best volleys and backhand of all time. Where did everything go wrong?

WELL DONE BRITAIN!!!
This is a massive win for them, given its context!

France takes the final two, although Raonic's issue didn't help any.

Honestly, did you believe that Tipsarevic and Troicki, #9 and #22 would be troubled by #348 and #1426 ![]() Or you're just biased ...

And it was simply Sweden's past that made me think they had a chance. Plus knowing how good Japan is starting to get, I thought Sweden would give a battle too. Can't win them all. |
