Id be FURIOUS if Taker loses to anyone. There's not a single guy on the roster that would be that much better off for doing it. They are all mannequins lacking charisma, and the streak is the last BIG thing from a previous generation. Shawn, (many people's fav wrestler of all time) gave his career to legitimize the streak. Seeing someone like the Miz pin Taker at wrestlemania would be enough to make thousands of people stop watching WWE. If they know what's good for business, Taker needs to retire undefeated and ride into the sunset.

He definitely needs to remain undefeated. Like was said, he is the only thing left from the previous generation. I stopped watching WWE quite a while ago, but I am interested because of the streak. I just found used copies of Wrestlemania 1-10 for a total of $24.00, and rewatched them all again.

Orton is stale, Miz sucks, Del Rio is a mexican JBL, Ziggler can wrestle but doesnt get the heel heat like the old days, I liked aggresive Kofi last night in the debate they should do that more often, Killings is doing his best work but is getting older, and CM Punk just lacks that edge right now.

They are lacking on big names compared to the last generation and you know it. Compare todays group to Austin, Rock, DX, Taker, Sting, Hogan, Nash, and a few others. The business is in a dip right now and not sure if its creative or the superstars that are the issue.

And the last generation was weaker than the the one before it. I agree they are really struggling for big name superstars today.

It all boils down to them getting rid of real gimmicks. Instead of The Heartbreak Kid, or Undertaker, or Diesel, or The Rock, we have Dolph Ziggler, Cody Rhodes and Wade Barrett. Dry dry dry. They just seem too normal. R-Truth is the best damn thing going on raw right now lol.

It comes in ebbs and flows. When as many big name guys leave the company so quickly you're going to have a down time. In the past few years HBK, Edge, JBL, Batista, Taker (semi-retired now), have all left the company, not to mention guys like Rey and Christian who are injured currently. If you want to go further back you can look at the deaths of Eddie and he who shall not be named, which left a hole in the roster, and guys like RVD and Angle who also left the company. Not to mention Lesnar who was supposed to be the face of this generation leaving before he even hit his prime. They're in a reloading stage, similar to the mid-90s when guys were leaving for WCW left and right.

Miss the pop for Kurt Angle. Wonder when Vicki Guerrero's daughter joins the WWE?

She's already in FCW, looks like she took tips from her mom on how to play the beeyotch role well.

So Y2J/Punk and Sheamus/Bryan are set as the title matches, HHH/Taker will be in HIAC, Rock returns next week, and Wade Barrett's arm is broken.

Anything else?

I agree with you Blakefan. The Bryan rise to champion and subsequent heel turn has been fantastic. Absolutely the best angle of 2012 so far. And I can take or leave Michael Cole, but I give him a lot of credit for his work with Bryan, it's been stellar from the NXT get-go.

Really not looking forward to Taker/HHH. I kept holding out hope. I was hoping that when Hunter opts out with something like "I'm not going to fight you again, Taker", that all of a sudden a big "BUT I WILL!" would come over the sound system and Mankind making an appearance. I think Mick and Mark could have put one more epic battle together.

Anybody watch the developmental? I can't wait for Antonio Cessaro and Dean Ambrose to make the rise. A couple others too, Bo Rotundo will be ready soon (got busted for DUI over the weekend though ) and brother Husky is real good too. Seth Rollins is likely going to be called up soon and Chris Hero is getting started now (as Kassius Ohno) and will likely be in Florida for a year or two.

Looking forward to the return of Skip Sheffield. Apparently, he's been doing a lot of dark matches recently and has been rumored to return. May not be until after Mania though, we'll see. Really enjoy his work.

I just dont see it. He was the second worse perfomer in the EC on sunday. thats only because khali cant move at all. I just dont get how people enjoy watching him. Barrett and Rhodes made the no selling indy midget look bad. his promos are boring as hell. He just yells yes all the time. The guy no sells everything which flys in the indies just fine but in the WWE when the big show chokeslams you you dont no sell it.

I also find it hilarious that santino is the most over guy right now. how the hell did that happen. sure he is funny but seriously he got the loudest pop of the night. thats just some funny stuff right there.

Complain about the in-ring work if you must, but I'm talking about his stick work and the great heel turn he just turned in. I thought it was phenomenal, except a bit heavy for a while on the vegan thing, but they've toned that down.

As far as not selling, I don't know. He sells pretty well to me, and really, I'm pretty sure he does exactly what he's being told to do, and if that is not selling, or perhaps low-selling, that's what he'll do. I've heard zero complaints from the locker room or the office about his ring work, so I'm going to assume it's just you.

I simply did not expect the quality he's been giving on the mic. Always thought of has his weakest skill, I think he's shown that it's a lot better than imagined. Sure, he'll never match the greatest promos of all time, but he's already proven himself better than others who were given the "great wrestler - bad talker" title. I mean, wasn't it painful to have to listen to anything Bret Hart ever said?

So is Wade's arm really broken or just another Cowboy Bob Orton cast as a weapon trick?

I was re-watching Wrestlemania 9 last night (one of the stupidest endings to a Wrestlemania ever IMO) when Yokozuma beat Bret Hart, then Hogan ended up with the title again. The surprising thing to me was that Danny Davis was one of the referees that night, and I didn't remember that. I was thinking why was he there after being "banned for life" from officiating several years earlier. I had to look it up to find that he had been reinstated shortly before that Wrestlemania as a probationary referee again.

Yokozuna was the man. Had the greatest Leg Drop of all times that was just a set up. How a 500+ pound man cant put people out with leg drops but hogans stiff leg piece of crap could is beyond me. Thats why wretsling is awesome.

I get the dummy award for not knowing until recently (as in last week) that Yokozuna was Samoan and not really Japanese.

Just like Nikolai Volkoff wasn't even Russian.

Always thought he was related to Afa and Sika. The Rock is his cousin.
