Nadal will hit more spin than you even with a full bed of natural gut....

hit with it again. unfortunately as much as i love the strings it's giving me some elbow discomfort. Pretty odd because i dont even have the same pain when using kevlar and gosen. I strung my bhb7 17 mains @54lbs and gosen 17 cross at 56lbs. I will try it again at 52lbs and see what happens. If i get the same elbow pain, ill stay off the strings. tsk tsk.. im pissed lol!

Elbow pain..weird. I've really never experienced that much, if at all. Last bout of arm tendonitis I had was the result of doing weights at the gym. I've since modified my workout. Heavier weights and tennis don't mix. The last issue of tennis mag had a pretty nice workout plan that i've incorporated into my routine.
BHB7 just feels great from the ground. I take full cuts at the ball, have great confidence that the shot will go in and I believe I had more overall control than the Polylon SP I was using before. One thing I did notice was that my crosscourt forehands were going wide a bit more than normal. Almost like the feeling when you hit too early, but I didn't feel like I was. I'm still getting used to the touch at net (missed what would have been an awesome drop volley), but i'm sure that will come. |

SteveI can i post something on your thread? Since I receive my first set of BHB7. I'm going to use it in d main with forten sweet gold 4d cross. What can you suggest with the tension on apdgt+ racquet 100sq.in. 16x19 string pattern? Also what is their differences w/ itB STRING? Thanks. (4.5ntrp player)

I tried this string and it was pretty good but it's the same exact string as Topspin Max Rotation which is cheaper by a bit. Same price but you get more string in the reel... stuff isn't bad though..

I'm using this as a cross with BHBR in the mains. While this setup lacks a ton of power the angles and spin I can hit are absurd. Anyone have thoughts on what the effect would be of reversing the setup?
I've only hit with this setup for an hour and a half but pretty happy with it so far. It feels just a little harsh, but I usually play with Babolat gut or Wilson NXT 17 so that's to be expected I think. |

To be clear, you're saying it's a thinner version of the Max Rotation? Haven't tried Rotation, but apparently I'm going to have to.

Ive got this string with global gut in the crosses now and it feels nice but i think i prefer using the bhbr in the crosses. Especially since global was a nightmare to string in the crosses and shaved so much my stringer looked like id been woodworking

Nope not me. I just bought the 1st reel of BHB7 17G to get this stuff tested on TW. I sold all the sets in about 3 hours..and did not keep enough for myself. I have no special deal with Tourna...just thought it was a nice idea and fun for everyone to test out a new string that really interested me... I made no money on that reel.. and in fact did not even break even... BTW... that last set of string I sent your way never came back to me.. I am guessing some postal worker is doing his own playtest of BHB7...LOL Have a good one.. Steve |

Was thinking of getting this string also. Can anyone tell me, will I get more spin from a full bed of BHB7 than from a hybrid of Klip Natural gut in the mains and BHB7 cross, psoobily at 55/52 tension?
What would the power also be? |

I still don't understand how some people are getting more spin with the BHBR than the BHB7. Maybe it is a different kind of spin, but BHB7 gives me just as much spin as the best poly's i've used. |

and making the sweetspot very small, resulting in poor control etc.. 55/53 is another world. i'll probably stick with this. i was tempted to string the x even 2-3 lbs lower, but decided to test this first. |
