back to tacibana. i thought their fish was fresh. maybe a little too heavy on the sesame oil but otherwise good. i find their rainbow roll disgusting but i guess exotic rolls is the name of the game.

if you want a good deal for fresh fish in the DC area, there's another place named kotubuki close by mutuba which dishes out decent value considering the area. the selection is less but the food is good.

sushi taro just sucks now after the remodel. they've jacked up prices while decreased food quality.

komi next door to sushi taro is still the best joint in DC. too bad it got rated as #1 in washintonian as they've jacked up their prefix to be 120/pp.. the good old days of 70/pp is over... ~sad~
This is the same Matuba in Bethesda right? Have you tried their conveyor belt sushi lunch buffet? If you can stand just eating salmon, tuna, and a very few other fish, it may be worth it.

Okay I think I'll head over to Habachi for lunch today.

My Hibachi trip turned to a subway trip. I know I'll overindulge if I go these places. With no exercise for the past 3 weeks, I better lay off the cow shoot.
I had me a 500 cal footlong chicken breast sub. Taste just as if I struck my tongue out while mowing my lawn. yum yum!

Oh yeah, that's a great idea! Let our captain know!

Or, we really should be practicing on clay, too. Ideally.

I can't wait for AQ to make us that awesome cake she posted earlier!

eating is not just eating.

(X) eating scared = prison eating

(Y) eating with zap = 2 * (eating scared)

X = Y

X = 2 * X

Zap = 2 * Prison

2* Prison = Federal Prison

eating with zap = eating in a federal prison = no thanks.

*yawn*

sappy -- there's a lonestar near my house. come up and let's get some cheap steak.

zap -- eating with the sap is an experience. with the exception of the one time he picked a sushi joint where the sushi chefs were all mexican -- he's never picked a bad restaurant. also highly likely to order stuff that nobody ever orders on a menu. good times. you guys are both in DC - you should hang out.

coolblue -- auzzie from the twmac wanted to know about your review of the bastidge core 30. i told him i hit with it for 20 minutes or so but it's got potential. especially since he likes flexy sticks.
