Have to,admit, I've never looked into the rules of the league and if you can share a link, it would be awesome.
Found my own answer... http://sec.xosdigitallabs.com/Portal...n%20Tennis.pdf

So, ultimately the coaches post their week's lineup on Tuesday by noon and the other coaches need to protest by 7pm and if there is a protest, there is a conference call at 10am Wednesday that the coach being protested can join.

Also saw the NCAA Handbook for last year that mentions how lineups are done in the NCAA Tournament. It says "In singles competition, position Nos. 1-5 shall remain the same for the duration of the championship. Position No. 6 may be filled with any of the three remaining players on the lineup, and may change from match to match."
I never that about #6 singles.

That rule is the same thing as saying you may sub your #6 player out for #7, and if #7 cannot play, you may sub #8 at the sixth position which is what has always been practiced. The logic behind the rule is a coach is not supposed to be able to make a substitution to play his "sub" at number 5 in front of the #6 player.

If for example, the #5 is injured, then #6 would have to play at the fifth position and then #7 or #8 would have to play the sixth position.

For a good example of this, do NOT look at how UVa did it when they played Mississipi or Miss St.

Somehow I missed that one when I was looking over the schedules. I'd be a little surprised if Memphis didn't win this one. 1st serve at 5pm - Live Stats

Alabama with singles wins at 1 & 3. Memphis with wins at 2 & 4 and leading 7-5 5-1 at 5. Appears #6 singles will be the decider with the Tide up a set and 4-3 in the 2nd.

Tie-breaker for the second set. Kills to not see the breaker score. Memphis has pulled these types of matches out this year.

Default SEC Schedule for Friday April 6th

Will it be a Good Friday for Kentucky or Mississippi State. Doubles point is a tough one to pick but I'm going to take Mississippi State based on the fact that Kentucky hasn't won the doubles point at home against any of the bigger names they've played (Baylor, Florida, Pepperdine, Tulsa) while Mississippi State has played very well in doubles on the road winning the point over Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, Texas A&M as well taking it from Virginia at home.

Projected Lineups
Quigley vs Ilyushin - Miss St 7-5 6-4
Musialek vs Chaudry - UK 6-3 4-6 6-3
Rossi vs Stropp - UK 6-2 6-3
Jomby vs Cant - Miss St 7-6 5-7 7-5
Gomez vs Coupland - Miss St 6-3 6-4
Roberts vs White - UK 3-6 6-3 7-6

Based on these lineups I'll take Mississippi State in the 4-3 upset. Weather is supposed to be 60 and sunny. If it was played indoors I'd probably take Kentucky.

Florida goes to Arkansas at 2pm est – LiveStats & Live Blog - Florida 6-1
Kentucky hosts Mississippi State at 4pm est – LiveStats & LiveBlog - they might not have the Blog today for some reason
Georgia goes to Alabama at 4pm est – LiveStats - Georgia 6-1
LSU hosts South Carolina at 4pm est - LiveStats - LSU 5-2
Ole Miss goes to Vanderbilt at 4:30pm est - LiveStats - Ole Miss 6-1
Auburn hosts Tennessee at 6pm est – LiveStats & UT Blog - Tennessee 4-3

I'll say Doverspike over Spencer in a 3rd set supertiebreak.

Chris Simpson has hit a hot streak. His emergence will greatly help LSU if he can keep it up. Dom Maden of Clemson beat him earlier in the year in a goofy 6-1 0-6 6-2 scoreline.

Per Arkansas Blog going on right now for the Florida match - ArkRazorbacks-JT: Don't let the records fool you. Arkansas may have a 1-7 record in the SEC, but have benefited from a tough schedule and continue to make that push for the NCAA Tournament.

Good to see they've got some optimism about being 1-7 in conference and are still talking about making the tournament.

They also have Bobby Petrino, so the logic in Fayetteville is not always in line with the rest of the country's thinking.

Alford already won 6-1 6-1. Florida well on their way to a 6-1 or 7-0 win.
