Didnt you post this before and we all had pointed out its no program just a list of exercises?
And I just checked yes you did so what are you trying get hits to your blog by posting this again? you didnt even change a thing. So I am gonna say the same thing I said in the first one. you didnt list anything but exercises. Where is the reps and sets? How about training split? Someone who doesnt know is gonna wonder if they do the whole thing or pick a few everyday. When writing exercise programs assume your reader knows nothing of lifting. The experienced guy most likely will skim over that stuff anyway but a new lifter will read it.

So you do those exercises? All on one day, 3 day split, 5 day split, or what?

Sounds more like a body building program than tennis training. I don't see tennis anywhere or exercises that simulates the movements on a tennis court.
Shrugs don't help with the rotator cuff by the way. If anything they kill more rotator cuffs than building them.

I think that the best tennis regimen is actually playing tennis, and then using charlief's thrower's ten to strengthen arms and shoulders. I spent three months only in gym, and when I came out to hit right handed I found absolutely no benefit from all the gym training whatsoever. However I have done a few of the "ten" for my right arm and just hitting a few times a week has much improved my fitness...

I think lifting weights in the gym is very beneficial to a tennis player when done right. I do bench, incline bench, and guillotine press for my chest; shoulder press and different variations of db flys for my shoulders; curls (hammer, standard, ez bar), dips, and close grip bench for tris and bis; t bar rows, bent over rows, lat pull downs, and palm out wide grip pull ups for my back; squats, leg press, calf curls and extension for legs (maybe some dead lift thrown in). All this is done for me in a 3 day split, when I started this I was just a speedy player witha solid game, the weight lifting gave me the explosiveness and turned my serve and fh into huge weapons. I was not as quick in my distance running anymore but my first step and sprint speed went up. Gym work is GREAT for a serious competitor.
