Are they going to give me anything materially different from a Dunlop Biomimetic 200 or an IG Radical MP?

In regard the jarring in this racquet you will need to put some lead kind like Meaghan did or so. My lead start one grommet upper from the first cross down to the six cross. That will open the upper sweetspot, since this racquet doesnt matter how good you are hitting in the center it has the tendency to hit the upper hoop.

About strings its what you arm and yourself like personally, I do play full bed wilson gut with all the power, control I need. In the first week I bought the 95d I spend some money to find the right string for me instantly without weeks and weeks of nonsense testing.

Full bed WC mosquito bite @ 50#
Babolat Tonic main/pro supex big ace cross 54/47#
Babolat Tonic main/ pro supex maxim touch 54/58#
Dunlop Black widow 17 @ 50# (only poly that im able to hit without pain if i care about polys ever again)
and Wilson gut full bed 60#

Sadly here I am reading and entertaining myself to get my head off from this Chronic tennis elbow (not 95d fault, but my own for not resting and Dunlop 200 lite with soft low power strings), so enjoy the racquet for me.

Someone beat me to it I suspect someone in this thread gazumped me!
Anyway, the guy buying my Bio 200s just pulled out which is good because I am liking them second time round. Looked on TW and they are almost identical specs to the 95D except the 16x20 vs 18x20. Oddly, the IG Rad is a 98 but identical hoop to the 200 which is a 95. If I don't get on with these, 95D is next up!

Just matched both sticks....361g and 32cm balance. Ive just measured sw the tw university way and the same number keeps popping up for both sticks at 355.

Love the exposed leather a la Gasquet, Wawrinka, Corretja, etc.

I'm sorry I mentioned the price but if you have your ey on something best not to say anything. Ali also had his eye on them so it may be him. Tbh if I had my paypal funds in order id of bought them myself. Check out the uk racketaholic in odds and ends, they are always on the hunt for a bargain.

I had my eyes on a particular 95D but snagged it for 91+change shipped so it waaasn't me . I also bought one today from my buddy's place. It's amazing the quality of these frames. I specced 3 of them on the RDC unstrung.

Weight (g): 320, 322, 320
BalanceL 31.25cm all three
Unstrung Stiffness: 69, 69, 68
SW: I don't remember this one exactly but I think it was about 320 each

Guys sorry in advance but have two 95's in 4 3/8 with very little use...unfortunately, they were killin my elbow somehow

Really liked them but at this pace I wont be able to play in a week or so...anyone else having soreness or something worse playing with these beauties?

Thanks.

Yeah he's been given the 97 tour selling job.....still the 95 tho eh.

It also looks like the wide tk57 pallets.....bugger wish i had them. (Maybe not the front one looks narrower)

Yonex leather too. Is that tape around the buttcap to protect or flare cap a touch??

^Nice find Meaghs!

Beam looks thicker than 19mm at throat. I'm assuming the tape might be to flare that buttcap out, looks pretty thick.

Good call about the pallets, wonder if this is the new yonex leather grip?

Thanks Klem but thats MurrayFan's credit.....

Yeah I added a thick piece of leather to the top bevel to give my fingers a place to sit. Incredibly narrow Yonex buttcaps.

Are those 95D's specs? I'm surprised they are so stiff as TW measured them at 63

Great find!

Looks like there's some lead tape along the sides too

Yup, if you look closely, you can read the "yonex" and see their icon.

You have to remember that these frames are brand spanking new out of the box unstrung and never been hit. The stiffness will naturally be higher. Once they get strung it'll drop a bit and after a week of hitting they should settle. I'll take readings later on too.

Most of the frames I've measured recently are all slightly stiffer than what they claim; not quite 6 points stiffer but 2-3 points, yeah

Press the link above from murrayfan1 you can click on the image to see full size....

The lead tape I expect runs under the bumper from 12 right down to 4&8 like a cap grommet.

They look very nice, I will certainly have a looksy.....

Meaghan... you can actually see it in the image above running from each of the corners of the "isometric shapes" down.
