The bruins fall in Ojai 4-1 Meister loses a tough battle to Steve Johnson, Puget was in a tough third set with Hanfmann 5-5 in the third
Johnson must have zipped through those last few games What protest? |

USC protested UCLA's lineup in their home match last week. If USC won the protest, Meister's win over Sarmiento last week would have not counted, giving USC the win. The protest didn't stand, but UCLA was required to play Meister ahead of Thompson for this tournament.
Was the score 4-1 or 4-2? |

Congrats to Steve Johnson on his 60th consecutive win. That's something crazy good.

I'm surprised that USC's 2, 5 and 6 are struggling so much during this time. Hanfmann was steady and clutch during indoors and Quiroz never seemed to dominate the 6 position against any top PAC 12 schools. Sarmiento's loss to Thompson is also weird. Don't think he's ever lost to him. USC needs to step up at these positions

I wonder why Oregon does not have the same commitment to excellence in tennis as they do to every other sport.
