Default ProKennex Proline

Just got this off the local 'bay for RM50 (~USD16).

Are there anyone who are able to identify this racket?

measurements:
length - 27inch
beam width - 18mm
balance point - 330cm (3pt HL)
weight - ~11.6oz
headsize - ~85sqin

i've enlisted the help of the all-knowing-all-wise-google-dot-com but nothing turned up. I've compared it to my newly acquired re-release of ps85.

notice the 'inverted' pws.

headsize is about the same, with the prokennex a mm or two longer.

Nice frame. ProKennex made so many models I'm never amazed when I see one that is new to me. ProStaff without pws.
How does it hit? Does it have a % breakdown on the frame.
The ace mold was close to this spec with a wider throat.

i have not strung it with my preferred strings setup yet (syn gut titan). took a swing with it, it feels that the swingweight is pretty high.

there's no breakdown whatsoever on the frame. the only text on the frame is pro kennex, proline, mid-size and graphite composite.

Does it have the 80% graphite and 20% braided Kevlar?

no. no text on it's construction whatsoever except for graphite composite words on the top of the hoop.

Several very nice ps85 knockoffs produced around that time and they made sure to Not include the pws or 80/20 mix that really differentiated the wilson era classic. The graphite was pretty much the same, no hardened heat treated variants of that era that I was aware of. As a result, the knockoffs all play great and are quite comparable to the ps85. I have a few diff models including some new Fox ATPs that also matchup and play very similar. Great deals for really fun player rackets. If you got the strokes to flatten out winners, these rackets can still win big !

Hey Joe, thx for the insight. I just got it strung and rewrapped the grip. Might just take it out for a hit tomorrow...
