Those guys do support Tennis Warehouse and tennis in general with their purchases and maybe it makes them feel better. I think that the most effort is best spent in the gym and that clothes don't make a lot of difference but I don't mind wearing quality stuff and I assume that the RF stuff is quality stuff. I just usually don't wear clothes with someones name on them.

Ah, I'd love to get a pro stock Prestige Pro or Extreme MP before any customizing has been done to it. I'd have a good ol time tuning it for my game

Tuning it is actually a pain in the neck unless you have someone doing the work for you. After you have it tuned, you then have to try and match it. Tuning silicone is a huge pain. Lead isn't so bad but it does take a while on trial and error.

I prefer finding something that is close but lighter than what you want and then adding lead tape to take you the rest of the way.

Is it just me of anyone else also finds odd the fact that it says 30.75cm / 5 pts HL for balance? 30.75cm is much more HL than just 5 pts.

Thanks for sharing the article. It's pretty fascinating (and somewhat of a relief) to read that top touring pros need to experiment around with lead too. Sometimes I read posts and threads about adding lead that treat it like it's an exact science and should be done more or less that same way for everyone.

It's nice to read that it's an art as well as a science, and that players really ought to experiment with different setups to see what works for them.

It could be extended length, which would change the balance point.

But in that case it's even worse, because the middle point of the racquet is even more distant from the buttcap.

Specs are UNSTRUNG.

Strung balance should be around 31.65~32cm depending on the overgrip, dampener, etc

I noticed that the specs mention UNSTRUNG measurements.

What's odd is that 5 pts HL( UNSTRUNG ) isn't the same thing as 30.75cm( UNSTRUNG ). Maybe in a shortened frame, since balance in cm is measured from the buttcap and balance in pts HL( or HH ) is measured from the middle point of the frame.
