I'm starting to think that way too. He'll be playing for six weeks out of the next 8 - the rest will be playing 7 out of 9.

That's a tough schedule.

That's a tough season for everyone. They get some real off-season this year, though, what is it, 7-8 weeks?

What do you think?

Good to hear. Hope he takes care of himself. Gald to see the RED clay court.

Slippery, Feels more like Hard Courts, and Lower bounce.....is what everyone is saying.

Oh ok. Yeah thats what i thought the differences were as well but wasn't sure if i was right. The ball marks on blue clay are so easy to see as well which makes it look cool haha.

Yeah he's probably taking it a bit slow with the training and getting used to the clay. smart move by him, probably just has a slight tweak.

Well doing a bit of light practice is different to playing a tournament.

Murray just doesn't get enough love here, compared to the other 3.

He would be burned at the stake by an angry mob of TT'ers with torches and pitchforks in hand. No way Nadal would get away with withdrawing from a tournament, only to be seen practicing a few days later. Just ask Drakulie about that.

Maybe he did. Doesn't seem like a bad idea either.

Clearly disfavours more defensive play, unlike what one would expect of clay.

"Seems like the players are enjoying the blue clay in madrid...Arrived in Rome and the red clay is playing horribly "

He will be called for what he really is. As is Murray for not respecting the tennis community and everybody, who paid to watch him play. Little punks.

lol. the top tennis players have so much downtime and many breaks. it's quite the life. they have the media hoodwinked into believing it's a "grueling" life.
