Oh, and at least he didn't make 5 finals just to be embarrassed every single time by the same guy.

If he plays Nadal, Nadal will beat him in 3, maybe 4 sets.

Nadal made seven finals in a row that he lost to Djokovic, not five.

Same as 2008, Djokovic got the AO (clearly his best slam, he's won it 3 times) and nothing more. The thing is, the Australian Open is Nadal's worst slam, so if Nadal is going to win 3 slams in a year, its likely not going to include the Australian Open (where he's lost in QF 2 of the last 3 years). A dominant year for Nadal will obviously include the Channel slam and the US Open (the last time Nadal lost before the semis of US Open was 2007).

I was talking about a certain Swiss player who got to five RG finals and lost all of them in 4 sets or less.

I thought you were talking about Nadal having five final losses from IW 2011 to Wimbledon 2011, since the topic was about Djokovic winning Wimbledon, where he had beaten Nadal in five straight finals up to that point. It's just that the all surface final streak was 5 not 7, hence my post. And the whole thing about being embarrassed, I thought you meant that the beatings came on every surface within record breaking time.

Djokovic was "embarassed" by the very same guy the round before on 3 occasions, he didn't even win a set in those 3 meetings.

None of you are right! Isner will win the French Open, triple bageling Nadal in the finals

It isn't only about how far you get. I'm really amazed at the lack of intelligence of some of you. At the 2008, 2009, and 2011 USOs Rafa didn't play a single top 10 player before the semis. In 2010, the only top 10 player he played before the Final was Verdasco, who is about the easiest top 10 opponent he could've faced regardless of his current W over Rafa. On the other hand, in his two quarterfinal losses at the AO, he played Murray (5th seed) and Ferrer (7th seed). All his results show is that he got better draws at the USO. You can't use one variable (slam results) to prove something when you don't control other factors. It would make more sense to compare his record against the top 10 at each tournament in order to determine which is his worst. I still think he's much more vulnerable at USO. Djokovic will be stopped by the great Federer, who will get all slam organizers to alter courts and conditions so he can win something worth shouting about....

dude, that's a very pathetic comment, good players adapt to all surfaces, blue clay only showed that Federer has an amazing complete game, he can play from all areas of the court, Nadal then complains about injuries and that he is such a girl and he is not coming back next year, same as djoko*****, just proving that they can't adapt...

![]() Is it Nadal and Djokovic's fault that they don't want to risk injury playing on an ice rink?

Has it occurred to you that nobody got hurt... Because they were playing with extreme caution given the slippery conditions?

if you don't want to hurt yourself, don't play, easy, ovbiously they don't have any skill to finish a point quickly, they depend on long rallies, and of course Nadal's defensive crappy game was ineffective because he couldn't change direction quick enough, he was just bitter he lost to Verdasco and as always he attributed his loss to injury risk and so on, if you don't want to get injured don't play, just prove you can't play any different and your game is crap...

Of course. I guess some players are just more talented than others, and don't have to rely on footspeed, running around, grinding out points... players that have a Plan B, or C, or D, whatever it takes to win. Seems like Rafa's Plan B is to b$%^# about conditions, Plan C is to complain about injuries.
