USC has changed a whole since the 90's .. it's a nice campus and the kids are great.. they are a better lot than UCLA kids .. I've walked around both campuses and USC kids seems a lot friendlier and more well rounded ... UCLA students seems somewhat standoffish ,a total reverse of what was before.. |

This Danielle Lao surprises me everytime i watch her play. She is so small and tiny and you wonder how can she hit the ball so hard and stay with these big girls that hit big heavy shots. and yet All she does is WIN. lol

USC girls have a couple of great fighters on that team now and they are starting to influence the rest of the team to fight harder and dig deeper, thus their success .. beating Stanford with their #4 back in the line-up was an un-imaginable win.. the match before,DLoa saved 6 match points against Baylor and that fired up the rest of the team dig deep for their win.. I hope they can keep this pace up and go all the way.. look what I just found for you ''fadace'' she's a bit tiny : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wz7VXQhxjFs Last edited by SoCal10s : 05-21-2012 at 10:15 AM. |

Watched USC play tennis for the first time on the 12th. Came in during the men's singles and watched the women's singles & doubles. Miss Lao's singles match 2 weeks ago at USC was awesome. She hits that ball HARD. O:
But it was hard to watch her match while watching Scandilis('s) awesome comeback. Rooting for USC. |

Little girl Lao went down to Mrs. Jones of UCLA. It was a good run for USC but UCLA played better, that is for sure. I was hoping USC would go all the way since they beat the best team in the tournament Stanford, but it wasn't to be.
but Stanford is a lock for NCAA win next year. With the Junior #1 player coming in for 2013 season, i don't know how they can lose.

I'm picking USC women's team over UCLA and
UCLA men's team over USC... USC women's team have 3 and maybe 4 top singles .. last year SC women #1 is playing #3 and haven't won too many big matches yet ,but if and when she starts winning again, she'll be the nation's best at #3 ... USC's #1 is ranked 3rd in the nation and USC's #2 is ranked #1 in singles and doubles .. their 4th best player is a bit up and down but she had a strong showing in the fall tournament .. their #1 doubles never lose and their #2 and #3 doubles are getting better,... so may be by the NCAA tournament everything comes together for them they can win it all.. |
