Hi everyone, Id like to get this raquets coze the specs seems to be ok but Ive some questions and hope that all of you can help me.
1-TW said that this raquet is too powerful and w/o feel. Can someone give me their feedback? 2-This raquets seems to swing fast in stock form due to the low sw, agin can someone confirm this? 3- is a stable raquet or need some led? thanx! |

2. The sw is somewhere between a prestige mp and a 6.1 95. Feels about 325. 3. The racquet is very stable in stock form, I can half volley my 1hbh with ease from the baseline. If you feel a wilson 6.1 is too much of a club and a prestige mp is too low powered, this is your stick. The wierd parts of this racquet is the stock grip is thin and the butcap has no flare, so you might want to customize that if you like a little edge down there. Overall top notch stick in the 95 headsize esp if you are an aggresive player.

THANKS so much FED K.
My current raquet is a FXP LM Radical with some lead. The sw is higher than 330. I played with the 98D but I need more plow t. (even with some lead) so it seems that the 95d would be my new choice. I was with some doubt coze the TW review almost killed the 95d. But you know it is subjective. But I you see the video, the 95d is like a PD!!! Last, what about the confort and stifeness? I felt 98d a little bit stiff to my taste. thanks again! |

2-- 7pts head light and not quite 12oz. It's a nice combination. I have longer, slower strokes while a friend of mine has tremendous racquet head speed. I think the frame adapts either way. If the both of us hit with a prestige, the ball quality is distinctly different-- with the 95d, different but both effective. 3. I didn't think it needed any. I'm enjoying it in stock form. Quote:
2-- you're right on the money. I posted specs of mine somewhere above.

I got the 95d strung with K. Evolution 1.25 (low 50lbs). I checked about 6 raquets at my local shop and all of them with weigh 320 grms. Amazing. Now the easy part... to play like Nalbandian and Wawrinka lol |

Any good recommendation on leather grip? I tried the Head Tour Leather, and probably because the original YY grip is so thin, the leather made the grip felt like an entire size bigger. Trying to find something that would be as thin as the original YY grip. |

Babo skinfeel should retain the same weight and balance.

Do you know the thickness and weight of the Yonex grip? I would like to keep the same specs for this raquet coze its perfect for me. thanks
On the other hand, I dont like K. Evolution (it is like the K PROLINE 2). So I will change to my main string for all my raquets: SPPP 1.23 at 54.5lbs in a full set up. |

My injured shoulder hates my modded pdr at 2 pts hl and 345 grams, and I needed a stick fast for league play so here I am. Demoed it tonight and really liked it. Only issue is I had bab excel in there at 60 and it is very average at best.
I plan to go gut poly with this racquet. Anyone doing this currently?

To add, I think the arm pain mentioned by a few in here comes from having to swing too hard. Not speaking for everyone, as I know UA has been dealing serious arm pain.
But I hit tonight again with the crappy Excel French Open string and it is low powered just enough to where I have to hit out a little more than I prefer. A mishit like that in this racquet is rather jarring to the elbow. I see why Tomic's 98 is strung so low. I personally am excited to try gut/poly in the mid 50s on here as I think it will solve this problem. Excel is also stiff for a multi, so that makes it even worse.
