No he wasn't. A Djokodal fan admitted that Fed has been dominant for 3-4 years and is GOAT.

Like the "Thrilla In Manilla" fight between Muhammed Ali and Joe Frazier. Ali won the fight, but barely. And Ali said the effort it took to stay on his feet nearly killed him. Even though Ali won, he was never the same fighter afterwards. That fight depleted him.

You can win a fight or a match, and still be "destroyed" by the effort it took.
Exactly. Plus we saw how messed up Djokovic was after last year's US Open final. I made the forecast back then that if Nadal could give Djokovic one more slam marathon (5 hours would have been enough, so 6 was great) then things would switch around thereafter. Truth is, Djokovic should win the AO each year, so when Nadal took it to 5 sets, it was like a victory, because Roland Garros and Wimbledon are Nadal's homegrounds more, not the AO.

Very good post. Djok had to play superhuman tennis to win that day in Melbourne and actually really should have lost and only one player was stronger physically at the end. They both knew that. Since then Rafa has gone upwards and Djok backwards. The last two matches were embarrassingly one-sided and the FO final could be worse for Djok. Arguably he may be better losing to Fed in the semis than getting hammered by Rafa in the final.

If Joker played the same level as today, I guess he can have a chance.

I know Tsonga took him to 5 sets, but in my opinion he played great, put his feet forward when it mattered, but was unlucky at times.

Lets see.

Get real. Fed ain't beating him and neither is Nadal. Like I have said before;Rolaids is unbeatable in best of 5. Nobody is beating him here, and they should just give him the trophy and get it over with. Nothing is as certain as him winning the title.

I don't think even those things are more certain than him winning all 4 slams this year.

Before today I thought Nadal was going to win this RG easily, but men, this Djokovic is not human.

The way he saved those four match-points...it is something really weird, as if he knew he can not lose in the GS these days.

It can't be luck all the time, he has done it many times already.

I'm starting to think he is going to beat Federer in the SF and then, in the final he will think he can not lose and maybe he even defeats Nadal there.

People, this guy is not normal, there is something very weird in the way he saves himself from the death once and again.

Could he really win the fourth consecutive GS tournament? Can he defeat Federer and Nadal back to back on clay in RG?

I'm starting to believe...

You're starting to bandwagon because anyone winning it besides Nadal is a victory for you. Even if it means your fav loses in the process.

Hey, I love Federer's game but I don't mind Nadal or Djokovic winning (or Murray or Ferrer...).

I can appreciate quality in very different forms in tennis.

What are you trying to say? I didn't even mention the word GOAT in my post.
