and the point is?

well, if you feels that the club night is run in a dishonest manner then stay away. why do you still want to play there? i question not the way TFN guys run the club but more of your intelligent.

am sure you will stay away from a restaurant if you felt that you have been short changed right? doesn't it strike you to apply the same logic for the TFN night? if others continue to patronize the restaurant or the club, it only means that they are fine with the way the business is being run.

if you are the only one has problem with that. that is becos you have got a problem. and that is your own problem. solve it yourself.

While i'm checking out your cool site and saw this respond from u or your fellow host. Please accept my apology, if I open up a can of worms in your forum. It is my earnest hope that your club will regain back the public’s confidence. But once again why only club members entitle club account dont you guys also collect from the public's also known as forum members? Dont they have the right to know too?The remedy is to be account transparency and since u guy are a non-profit club registered with the Registry of Socities what is there to hide from the public's when u guys also collect money from the public's? Does it make sense?

How to convince someone to believe when u guys are not transparent at all? i'm not here to challenge your club or the host integrity.just hope u get the point! Treat others the way you want to be treated and be FAIR...

Thanks guys for standing up for TFN club. I've seen through TFN over the years, please allow me to make a few clarifications in case there is still any unresolved doubt. I'm afraid my words may come a little harsh to some but I have to make things straight before doubts turn from bad to worse.

Firstly, I'd love you guys to read and digest the motto, vision amd mission of TFN before anything else. It seems naive to be asked to do so but I'm sorry you really have to otherwise you wouldn't understand why TFN is operating the way it is.

Secondly, every single cent we collected from club nights/beginners nights and membership fees are 100% used back to the club members. There's no way any of the committee member or TFN club member putting the funds into any personal use. The funds have all been accounted for and we have a treasurer and an external auditor to ensure we do not mis-use the club fund. We plan to send a copy of TFN club accounts to all valid TFN club members at the end of the year for clarity. That said, we are a Registered Society with ROS and we don't go to stock market. Thus, we have no obligation to be accountable to any public member in the forum here on how the club funds are being used. So I'm afraid I may have to disappoint some of you who have made the allegations and hoping to see an account statement. Just a little extra information for you guys, the hosting of this forum is not free. There's a monthly hosting charges incurring as we want the forum to be stable and maintained well for the ease of all our web members. We have a web domain name to maintain yearly as well. In fact, all web members here have been in a very minor way benefited without being asked to pay a single cent to TFN simply because we don't see the need to since we are not here to make any profit, but to promote tennis to the community.

Thirdly, the hosts of the night need not pay the fee simply because they've been putting in effort in coordinating for the sessions from booking courts 2 weeks in advance, all the way till the session ends, everything needed to be done to ensure all players and new comers get comfortable with the session. Mind you, apart from the hosts of night, all other committee members have been paying the fee like any other member for each session they participated in without failed.

Fourthly, we've consistantly considered the maximum no. of players we can take each club/beginners session. Otherwise we may end up having 30 to 40 players for each session if you noticed.

Finally, any false allegation on TFN club and how we operate the club and its activities is not welcomed here. You may have your own view depending on how you perceive it, but my advise to you is if you do not agree with the way the club and forum are running, there's always another place you may find it suiting you better. Hence, make your choice today while I truly appreciate you to stop creating false allegations with whatever intention you might have.

Wow. So much information and drama in this post.
I'll be in Singapore some time in the middle of June for a few days.

I'll check out the TFN place if I have time and post a review.
