I was just referring to prince O3 frames in general, in case someone searches this thread in the future looking for general advice

There are some Prince frames that have bare frame at tie off locations mostly for the final cross. I have talked to Prince and you would not believe the frames they get back where someone wants a racket replaced and it is evident some object has been forced into the tie off hole. You can forget replacement when that happens.

There is always a way to get both strings in easily without an awl. I would never use an awl to string a racket except for a pathfinder awl.

EDIT: Also if you are using flying clamps and can't do as I suggested in post #15 you could try this method:

I don't jump to the awl at the first sign of trouble, don't get me wrong, but the pathfinder awl is at least as wide in diameter as most (good) awl tips that I've used. I've seen (and experienced) bad things happening with an awl, but I don't hesitate to use them if/when they're the correct tool for the job. It's true that they're rarely necessary, and I use them very rarely, but I don't think there's any reason to avoid it if you've got a quality awl and aren't muscling it (I generally use an awl to shift how a string's sitting in the blocked hole).
