I've not had any issues since I got the Opus. Have strung about 25-30 racquets on it so far.

Default Stringway

I have been through this entire thread, and i am very shocked that no one has posted a single picture of a Stringway machine yet!!.

I might have to put mine up when mine arrives in 1-2 weeks!

I finally set up the Prince Precision Tuning Center in the man cave right next to my Neos. This machine is beautiful and is obviously powered by sorcery. Which is fine considering I believe in Bigfoot and ghosts. I love the design and it was so easy to assemble and use. I just have to keep my youngest son from pouring water on it now.

My racquets weren't as far off as I thought and all four can be made the same with lead tape in roughly the same spot on the three lighter frames.

Man this is beautiful! Did you just buy it brand new? I'm so eager to get one as well, but Prince seems to be out of stock. Their bankrupcy doesn't help at all now.

Thanks! Yeah I bought it brand new about a month ago via Amazon for a fairly reasonable price. I think it's okay to say that right? I would have bought it from TW if they carried them. If it's any consolation I bought my new Neos and $1500 in string from TW at the same time.

interesting, looks like a great machine. i have a gamma machine at home, and took every part of the machine that could catch a string loop. string meter, turn table lock, handles, ect. maybe i am just hyper.

Gamma makes a unit pretty much the same.

I've been stringing since I was 14 (I'm 36 now) and ran a tennis shop for 7 years and am strongly considering opening one here in LA. It's just something I enjoy and if I were able to make a living from stringing and customization/matching that would be a dream come true. I'm kind of baby stepping it right now since I do have a wife, kids and a pays the bills job. Currently I string for myself and just a couple of friends and am the worst capitalist ever as I string for beer (can one be a Republican socialist?) and never accept their money. I've been checking out some storefronts near my home so we'll see where it leads.

My ML120. I love it - great machine. Easy to use, built like a tank.

^^^ I think I'd like to get that machine to be my next machine.

What's up w/ the golf balls? JK. I know some tennis people will get angry about that.

I started tennis three years ago after 30 years of golf. Only golf 5-10 times a year now. I'm outside of Cleveland btw

Updating my previous post in this thread, I sprung for a Gamma 6004 and moved my Wise to it.

Never seen a racquet that was broken like that Prince Diablo in the picture. What happened?

I've got a friend who was a (male) cheerleader in college, and still has crazy upper body strength from it. An awkward series of events on the tennis court suddenly left him with two badly sprained ankles and fair bit of anger. He smacked his Diablo hard into the court and severely cracked it in two places.

I took his ruined racquet and (in the name of science) tested it against my concrete driveway to see how much it took to break all the way through (a lot) and what was inside (foam).

And here I thought it was because you're floating the bridge and hoop of racquets you're stringing instead of letting them rest on the tower supports before you clamp down at 12 and 6.
