Nadal enters the second round of Wimbledon yet again, bidding for his third title and his 6th consecutive final (including only his attempts, not 2009). Winning the title would give Nadal his 3rd channel slam, at the age of only 26, tying Bjorn Borg, so that he would be only 1 final away from matching Federer's 7 Wimbledon finals (and of course, only 5 slams away from breaking the all-time record, and giving him the opportunity to win three different slams on three different surfaces in a calendar year TWICE).

Why is every new Nadal fan that comes is a **** fanboy? Can't they just be normal people? Oh, they can't, they like Nadal. Never mind.

I was saying just throw the TV out of the window and it would not have heard about the hammer and stuff....
The TV can be a dangerous thing

I hope the TV doesn't hurt you

I think this tournament sets the tone nicely for the Olympics. Assuming Nadal wins the gold medal here, he will become the ONLY man to win a gold medal on clay, grass and hardcourts at the Olympic Games. Truly straggering. By then, Nadal will have eclipsed Federer's slam record and will have added at least another 10 Masters 1000 titles to his collection, including potentially 10 Roland Garros titles. Add on to that a 10+ defense of Monte Carlo titles and a multitude of Barcelona and Rome titles. And Nadal is showing no sign of decline at all with his current form. Amazing.

Rafa’s game should follow Murray’s, which is on center court now. Whether or not they show any of his game on TV depends on what washed out, has been, American or ladies match is on at the same time.

Hopefully Nadal doesn't mug it up like he did in his last match. Horrible isn't even a strong enough word to desrcibe how sh*tty that match was.

Lol complaining about moderation?? Then the whole 'Wimbledon Discussion Thread' should be banned considering that they're flaming their butt's off complaining about the mods.

Of course I'm gonna watch it. hope Muzz closes this one out soon.

Good job Muzz. Bamos Rafa. He needs to expend as little energy as possible and steamroll. And yeah I know right!

Rafa always looks pretty weak during the early stages at Wimbledon. Just look at his 2010 Wimbledon run. Pretty shake until the QF if you ask me.

Both Djokovic and Federer have looked WAAAY more impressive than Nadal. I don't REALLY understand the lack of confidence by Nadal in early stages of Wimbledon. He's reached 5 finals, WON the title twice and is the second best grasscourt player of this generation. Yet he persists with his pusher, defensive tennis in initial stages and moves like it's ice, rather than grass.

What does he need to get more confidence? He should be a natural by now. Djokovic, in contrast, looks like a man who believes in his abilities on grass courts, even though he's won once and made the final only once..
