Video clips of Sampras and other players

Hi. Here are some clips of Sampras available at http://www.classictennismatches.net/.../page0011.html

This was an interesting project. I wanted to put some clips out there for people to see around the world as there are so many great moments over a long period of time.

Some of the clips have a high picture quality as a higher MPEG rate was used. Its a learning experience so next time I will reduce the rate. Many clips download pretty qucik. Others take longer. I guarantee you if are patient to wait, you will be rewarded with some incredible shots. One standout for me is the 1998 Cincinatti final clip. Its a must see.

I would love to know what you lot out there think of the clips. Feedback would be very welcome. I'm sure many people wouldn't have seen any of these matches before.

Awesome, thanks for putting out all these clips. I love watching Sampras highlights. Really shows why at his best he was the most perfect tennis player there has been.

Nice clip. Rafter got completely owned, broken at love. I don't really understand why he handed his racket to that kid though.

I wanted to download some more clips. They took hours to publish so I'll leave these on for some time (month at least) while I figure out a more efficient way to publish them and get MPEG rate right, whilst keeping picture quality.

Glad a lot of people are enjoying the clips.

Rafter gave the racket to the ball kid becuse he couldn't take it any more. Sampras was all over him for the whole set.

they these things dont load man.

i did the sampras/Mcenroe, and sampras/lendl it takes like forever to loud and then maybe one sec plays and its over.

Thanks for the comments. What I'll do is discuss with my friend so we can come up with a way for most people to see them. Good news for me is that many people have seem them so far. Its a nice learning experience for the next update of clips.

Maybe you guys can try on a friends' machine or something?
