Federer would be shaking his head and smiling on court but both Nadal and Djokovic would definitely be laughing their heads off in the player's lounge for the reason stated above.

Good at least that he shows some character for a change. Those preprogrammed controlled emotions thought to him by media trainers can be too much for me.

Lol, from the PseudoFed blog:

"Afterwards the nice press people asked Me about Rafa and I say, “In the 5th it was just a joke, I was laughing in disbelief 10 minutes after match ended.” – yes I really did say this. I must be honest and humble with My fans. But it was funny wasn’t it? In the car on the way home one of My staff asked Me if the Roland Garros final of 2008 was also funny. This staff member now does not work for Me."

Good point. "Well it's always special to do what I did today, especially here at this tournament where I've had so many great matches before and been able to do what I have just done in the past as well, etc. etc. blah blah blah"

I'm saddened by trolling attempts that fail to cause upsets. 15 years ago, you at least had the occasional troll in God mode who managed to upset someone. Of course I felt bad when a serious poster got upset by such trolling mastery, but I coudn't help but laugh at what the troll managed to pull off. Today, these upsets are virtually impossible because trolls are clearly too obvious and lack the talent to create such upsets.

To be fair even as a Nadal fan I was laughing from disbelief. I have never seen a low ranked player pllay so freely.

If that happens you just have to shake hands and say too good for me today. It's one of those outliers that makes sport interesting.

He will also not say anything about the equal pay issue. How we miss Richard Krajicek who called some female tennis players cows.

I mean, if we put aside all these petty fights on the forum and everything, we can all acknowledge that Nadal is a good tennis player, but when you have one of the best tennis players in the world, and possibly the best of all time on his surface, being pushed around and beaten like he is a 14 year old brat instead of the world number two...what else can you do but laugh?

I'm laughing at the OP's over-strenuous (and failed) efforts to get a controversy going here and to get us all at each other's throats. Great to see him failing

And what else can you do but laugh when you see rank 100 swinging like Rosol did yesterday. It was like a No. 11 batsmen hitting a 6 every other ball.. you just laugh and shake your head, completely mystified

How many people has Fed bumped into at the change over? It will be interesting to see Nadal's ranking when he is 30.

Id rather see a player say what he really means (and potentially be offensive) than have him water down his statements to be politically correct and not offend anybody.

Nope, but all the rafa fans surely were laughing and smacking their lips when Fed was down 2 sets to JB. They were, so let's not be hypocritical.

And I doubt he would have been laughing today had Benny done the same thing that Rosol did

But he probably wasn't actually laughing for 10 minutes solid, maybe just sort the odd snort of disbelief
I was laughing for longer than 10 minutes. Nadal losing over 1000 ranking points is hilarious.
