Default Clamp blocking outside grommet

What do you do if you can't get to the next grommet from the outside because of the clamp? A few times I have been able to thread it the through but a few times the angle to get tension is bad and/or I just can't get string to next hole from the outside.

What do you do? Undo clamp to get string through and then tighten back up?

Make a mental note of it and don't clamp so close next time. But if you mess up like that, you need to repull that last string and then reclamp it properly. Is this on your main to cross transition?

You need to adjust your 6 and/or 12 o'clock so the support on the side does not block your grommet.
