Incorrect.
http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/burka Arabic words can be romanized in various ways. Both burka and burqa are acceptable. |

Pulled from Reddit about dogs pooping on lawns:
"Have an old codger who walks his dog by my house like clock work, every night at 5:30.And my side driveway has become his dogs crapping ground.I had told the guy to either pick it up or I would gather it and leave it on his front step. That worked for awhile, but then he just started walking the dog an hour earlier. So yesterday after we cooked breakfast,I decided to try something I heard of.... I took the big pan of bacon grease and poured it on all of the crap piles..... I went and waited, and the dog was like hungry-hungry hippo's......he couldnt get enough!!!The old guy didnt notice it at first, then the dog was pulling on his leash to get it all. Just as the guy get to where he can see me I walk out and tell him good job on teaching that dog how to clean up its own ****!!!! BACON-1 old codger-0" http://www.reddit.com/r/offbeat/comm...eed_to/c56e1hu

I have actually scouted around in some places. Most of the decent places in the North which might be cool (in the hills) are taken by retired army people or businessmen. Long ago i went to the Nilgiris and the rates back then were far more than i could afford even today. I am looking for a place I can move with my very old parents who want a few years of peaceful life from this awfully toxic, aggressive life in Delhi. Someone suggested Auroville but it would be very hot, and there's no telling what obligations there are. I am considering Himachal (although there are regulations about outsiders). Real estate developers are buying up everything in the North, and waiting till the rates go up so they can get a premium for it. It can't be totally remote as one would need some basic medical facilities for my old parents.

Are you looking for an independent plot and house rather than a flat? |

So to answer your question, no, you shouldn't have said anything. It was actually rude and presumptuous on your part to tell him how to speak. The best you could have done was to complain to the store manager and let him handle the situation, and if you see that he doesn't care much about loud, swearing customers you can take your business elsewhere. |

Traffic is so rash, the parents can't step out. So a green, quiet area is preferable. Preferably cool. I suppose the Nilgiri area is prohibitively expensive.

Sometimes I have a hard time keeping things to myslef, I'm kind of a heart on your sleeve kind of guy. I actually admire those guys -well, most guys- who just keep everything in at all times. I never have, sometimes to my advantage, sometimes to my detriment. |

OK, my thoughts in this area are well known. This week at the DMV, of all places, we are there to get my daughter's learner's permit testing done. You know the drill, long line to get triaged into one of many secondary long lines to get your issue dealt with. A single person dealing with a 30 deep, serpentine line just to one side of the entrance.
We slowly make our way towards the head of the line, a second helper comes and speeds up the line dramatically, only to leave when we are at the head of the line. The original worker turns to have a parting conversation with her coworker who is leaving... meanwhile come 20-something dude with the fly threads walks in the door and right to the empty counter in front of the worker. I figure "give the guy the benefit of the doubt, maybe he just wants to ask where to start the process, since it is not obvious due to poor signage". Nope, when she turns back around and says "may I help you?" He starts in with his actual question, acting oblivious to the 30 odd people just to his left. "Hey dude, get to the back of the line!!" comes right off my lips as easy as anything, followed immediately by about 5-10 other linestanders piping in. The nerve of some people. |
