Thumbs up If there was an indoor grand slam would nadal still dominate Federer?

If there was an indoor grand slam would nadal still dominate Federer? I would say definitely, when it comes to the big events nadal has that extra gear to beat Federer, regardless of the surface.

I don't think indoor hardcourts are that bad for Nadal's game. He doesn't win indoors because he puts all his energy into winning Slams and the claycourt season. If there was an indoor hardcourt Slam, Nadal would have won it by now.

Unless his knees stop him, I would say it is Federer who needs to make it to the finals

Hmm. Very slow high-bouncing surface you can slide on but is also quite slippery lol.

It's 8-2, but it should be 9-2 come US Open.

If Nadal can't even beat the lesser players on indoor, I don't see him making the final much less having a chance to face Roger.

The thing about indoors is that while it doesn't necessarily hinder Nadal's game, it makes his opponents more comfortable in going for their shots. To beat Nadal, you need to be fully aggressive in your approach to the match. It's easier to do that when the conditions aren't present. More players would feel comfortable playing against Nadal indoors as his defense wouldn't be as impenetrable as it would be outdoors.

If I said Federer led Nadal 3-1 at Wimbledon, people would correct me. 8-2 is not even an obscure statistic, and it's an easy one to look up on the ATP website.

Fed is 4-0 against Nadal in the indoor grand slam aka WTF/YEC/Masters Cup.
